So, the idea with Melo was that he would give us the third scorer we needed and keep us afloat until we get our injured players back. Well, we're not afloat. But maybe we'll be good when we get Nurk and Zach back? But then do we still want Melo?
Now, I'm biased because I thought signing him was stupid. But he's done just enough in terms of his personal stats to look like he was a good signing - after all, what do you expect for the league minimum? But the trouble is, he's not a regular minimum player. Stotts literally HAS to play him and almost HAS to start him, even if (as I believe) he's hurting the team. And now there's been all this fuss about his "amazing comeback" the team can't simply waive him. Are we stuck with him, even at the expense of giving Little and even Hoard some developmental minutes?
