Every year I go to fewer and fewer games. Instead, the home viewing experience has gotten so good I usually opt for that. I still enjoy going to games every now and then, but now the seats need to be good or its just not worth it. And then there is the money issue. Cost of tickets, parking, beverages, food, and any other swag all add up to a very expensive night.

I have a big, clear tv, a comfortable couch, all the beer and snacks I want easily accessible. And, I can flick around to different channels, different games, and have my iPad next to me to follow posts, tweets, and other games.

For me, the game is just better from home, with or without friends.

I like watching from home because the games have gotten so expensive and the snacks are outrageous.

I prefer watching at home too. But since of dont live in portland I go to games when they play the clippers or when I'm in portland. But when I go I do have great seats..wouldn't want to be in the nose bleeds

I've actually gone to a few games solo and I prefer it than going with non blazer or basketball freaks.

i really enjoyed making a date out of it when we'd do our ~15 games a year. We'd drive down, do dinner near (or at) the RG, enjoy the game, hit McCormick's Happy Hour after the game, then drive home. After they doubled the price of the BlazerManiac seats we moved down near the baseline, which was where Mrs. FromWA said she could see Jarrett almost cry after a turnover, and she felt bad for him. After the first child, we only made the trip on weekends and made it a trip to see G-Gma as well. After kid #2 I just made sure to DVR them and then watch whenever I could, since carving out 2+ hours was difficult. Now I'm on LeaguePass and enjoy posting during the game. I think I'd really like a chatroom format for during gametime instead of 500 post threads, but that's minor.

Doesn't it get annoying having to answer questions like "who is #0" "what is a defensive three second?" When I'm watching I can't be bothered

I would agree with you. I usually just watch from home. If I do go to a game I like to sit up close but I don't even want to sit in the cheap seats.

Naked with hookers.

Doesn't matter if I'm at the game or home.

I never go to games. Too much time and money. And you never know what you're going to get.

Hey HCP, are you going to make any highlight packages for Lillard?

I guess I just haven't attended enough games to become jaded yet. I love watching games at the garden. Even in the cheap seats. Even if I have to watch with people who know nothing, or idiot fans who complain about any call against the Blazers. Just can't beat the atmosphere in the arena. Just wish it weren't so expensive...
