"How Do You Solve A Problem Like LaMarcus?"

My favorite post in that thread is about Brian "LaMarcus Stopper" Cook.

That thread is exactly why I hope LMA has 15 points the next game and we bomb the shit out of them from 3 point range.

You just have to make sure that Aldridge doesn't catch the ball and the easiest way to do that is to give someone else shots. We took our chances with Aldridge and we lost. It's time to give Lilliard the shots.

Who the fuck do these chumps think they are talking about? Give Lillard the shots?! hahaha

And this is why LA doing what he did in Houston and us winning the first two and coming home matters. Our guys, like most teams, play better at home. Without looking up advanced stats, I'd like to think they shoot better at home. If the Rox find a way to slow LA (given how he has played the last 4 games against them, there's no way they stop him), I'd like to think our guys figure out how to hit some shots (Let's be honest - we've not shot great in this series outside of LA).

LMA has been ridiculously "on" the past two games, and I'm still expecting him to have one of his "off" games from the mid-range. What they should be concerned about is that the rest of our team really hasn't shot that well in this series, so at some point we're going to get our outside shot going.

Lamarcus plays very well against good teams. His splits this regular season.

4 games Vs houston 26.5ppg, 15.5rpg
2 games vs the Clips, 28.5ppg, 6.5rpg
4 games vs OKC 26ppg, 13.8rpg
3 games vs Dallas 26.3ppg, 14rpg

When he has an off game in the midrange I think he will drive more. Like game 1

Problem solved!

No. He said to give Lilliard the shots. Whoever Lilliard is. :dunno:

Just...wow.

Pure gold, right from the OP:

Do you guys have any idea on how to find and exploit his weakness?

I would for one go to all of his back games and watch the tape and see how his opponent dealt with him.
That's genius. Shear genius. Watching film of his previous games? I hope the Rockets staff don't think of that.

Funny ish from a Rockets fan: Stott just found the cheat code in Aldridge. Game over.

Its pretty simple. I won't say though until we have won the championship though.

On the contrary, LA has slightly better stats on the road.

My favorite paragraph so far:

"There's an especially absurd sequence, beginning at the 2:29-mark of the video, when Aldridge just torments the Rockets with a series of unguardable jumpers: He takes poor Terrence Jones into the post, spins left, and drops a fall-away jumper right in his face. He flicks a jumper from the right wing over the outstretched hand of Omer Asik, a seven-footer who can't even come close to touching Aldridge's shot. He gets the ball on the left block, appears to suddenly find the idea of posting up boring and not worth his time, and again shoots a jumper right over Asik. He gets Asik on the left block once again, takes one hard dribble towards the paint to create some space—as if he was ever actually going into the paint, Omer!—before pulling up for another gorgeous jumper. Aldridge hops away on one leg, completely amused with himself, while poor Asik turns into a giant, Turkish Charlie Brown."
