As to the original question, my response is "with skepticism and a sense of intellectual superiority."

what about the 37% of Oregon where comcast isn't available? Should those customers take business 101 classes to help?
Blazers streaming: There are a small number of people who do not have access to Comcast SportsNet through their cable system. The Blazers typically offer a streaming option to the remaining fans without an option to view CSN NW on their cable system (so this does not apply to those who choose not to have cable TV service). They have not made an announcement yet, but it often arrives during opening week.

And there are areas. Like sandy, that have wave broadband which has a contract with csn

So this addresses the Blazers re-upping with Comcast knowing that comcast didn't actually try to negotiate with dish and direct, how exactly?

It's been 9 years, and you're telling me that it should've taken that whole time to get a deal struck? Think of all the money they've lost because they didn't get $ per customer, each month, for 9 years now.

And what about the customers who live in the black out zone, but don't have or can't access Comcast?

And why should we sign up for a worse product that costs more?

I'm just saying, I hope the Blazers don't re-up with comcast, or if they do they put in clauses that give them an out if an agreement isn't reached within a month of signing the contract. Without the Blazers, comcast sports NW isn't financially viable.

A worse product that costs more? I told you, use dish prices against Comcast when signing up. That's what I did with Frontier and Comcast when frontier fucked me, and Comcast hooked me up for internet and tv for $60/month. Personally I hate dish and directv, had both growing up.

But anyways, I'm done with this conversation.

Comcast is the devil and they suck because they make it hard for me to get good deals from them. They should just bend over and let me give it to them at all times.

odd how you seem to say things that I never said or implied, but whatever.

There's a reason why comcast has a universally bad reputation, and it's not because I'm "butt hurt" or think they should just "bend over" or whatever the hell you're trying to imply.

Comcasts reputation speaks for itself and pretty much /argument.

Yes, lets just follow the masses instead of finding out for ourselves. Try it sometime. Comcast has bent over backwards and given me whatever I've wanted numerous times because I can play their game.

Why bring something up to someone that is offering you things they don't have to In the early stages of said relationship, when these people literally have nothing to do with any of the Contract negotiations on the business side of things.

It makes absolutely no sense and would make us come off as giant assholes.

Blazers: hey sly, we really like our relationship with s2 and want to make sure you guys are happy. Is there anything we can do to strengthen our relationship

Sly: you're Damn right there is. You fucked us with Comcast and we all hate your guts. If you're even thinking of resigning with them you can shove it up your ass. You better not resign with them.

Blazers: uh, ok? That's a different department and I don't have anything to do with that.

Sly: I don't give a Damn. You need to be reminded of your injustice to our fans.

Blazers: uhhhhh ok. Maybe we need to rethink this relationship. Again we have nothing to do with that.

These things are sales and business 101 bro. You don't bite the head off of someone offering you swag and generosity for something they literally have no control over.
That's why Rasta isn't our liaison

Only to people who find racial jokes funny. I simply do not.

Fair enough

I do take pride in knowing I was a smile winner first though. It takes skill to sit in the right seat, after all

Ramblin Rod, Bitch

And the news sports highlights in high school
Thanks for bringing back that Ramblin Rod opening song into the back of my mind. Now I got to play Kashmir on my Android for an hour to get it out.....

If im streaming league pass its usually on tv and I post in game threads on phone. If im blacked out I hop on computer and find a good free stream on my 27" monitor and post on my 21" monitor.

I'm starting to get the feeling you really never took business 101.

umm, perhaps you sir, need a geography lesson. Oregon Washington and even more of the Pacific Northwest is a rather large area. The satellite tv systems cover the entire area.
Just a guess, but I think you will find that Comcast only covers a small portion of the area, probably less than 10% of the geographic area. Just a few pockets here and there, like the upper end of the Willamette valley, an other even less significant pockets. The choices are not business related to the people in the vast majority of the area.

Sucking up to sly? Yeah, ok. Can't say I've ever actually sucked up to him. Unless he has peanut butter of course.

But continue on with the whole me hate blazers because of Comcast schtick.

Bottom line is they are a business, and whether they resign with Comcast or not, the moda center will still be rocking every game with passionate fans that don't get all butthurt over it.

Most of the people that complain have a simple solution. Sign up with Comcast.

I wish there was a Dumb Post button instead of Like. I would have used it.
