How easy is the game for the players?

In that article, Roy said on Friday that he would give reporters stuff to talk about after the Washington game and then he did. And he definitely looked like he was on a mission during the game. It wasn't like he just happened to get 10 steals. He looked aggressive. Like he was out to make a point.

And several weeks ago, Travis Outlaw's mother (or was it his grandmother?) told him to go rebound the ball and the next game he had like 13 rebounds.

Makes you wonder... all you have to do is Travis to rebound and he grabs that many? Roy decides to turn out a great performance and does...... is the game that easy for them? And if it is that easy, why don't they turn it out every night? Who wants the team to win games the most? The players or the fans? Hmmm....

it probably is easy for them to turn it on and have a good or great night in one area any one night that they want to do it, but to actually consistently do that every night is much harder.

Roy has shown that he knows how to pace himself even within games. I think that he has the ability to put up 50 every night. But then he will give you 6pts on 3-20 shooting the next night if he does. 82 games is a lot of basketball, and the rookie wall shows how even if you are young and in shape you still need to know how to pace it. Roy just decided to focus on the defensive game and it ensured that he didn't have to put up so much 4th qtr magic offensively.

Travis on the other hand just doesn't get it I don't think.

I'd imagine the guys have people giving them positive suggestions about their game all the time. And when they break out people want to claim their suggestion was the reason (jungle karma). Heck, at the beginning of the broadcast Rice was relaying that he told Travis before last nights game that if he gathered 5 offensive boards he'd buy him dinner. He claimed Travis got all wide eyed and said he'd hold him to it. TO had a very good game, but he only managed 2 offensive boards.

the game is easy for them, but it's easy for their opponents as well.
