<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Tiger is truly dominant. I really don't think golfers need to be in great shape. If John Daily can win a PGA championship, and a British Open and be clearly overweight. It shows that physical fitness isn't the primary factor in what makes an excellent golfer.
Even the most out of shape soccer player or out of shape basketball player would probably beat John Daily in a footrace.</div>
John Daly wouldn't get close to a major today. The physical side of golf has changed enormously in the 15 or so years since he won.
</div>
He won in 2004 at Torrey Pines.
</div>
Sir Desmond said he wouldn't get close to a MAJOR today.
He won the Buick Invitational in 04. That is not a major.
The last time he won a major was in 95 at the Brit Open.
</div>
Well, it's not really clear that's what he meant.
In any case, they just played a major at the same course - which is tough no matter how it is set up.
Daly probably couldn't win a major now because he is old and his game has gone to hell, but another fat, chain smoking alcoholic who is a golf prodigy like Daly is could definitely win.
John Daly is a special talent.
</div>
What? What do you mean it wasn't clear?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>John Daly wouldn't get close to a major today.</div>
How clear do you want it? Bolded? In pink letters?
He said major.

I took it as two separate statements.
I'm not understanding the hostility.
</div>
I'm not being hostile.... I wa sbeing sarcastic.
I reserve the hostility for when you talk about the Giants.
</div>
LOL. I feel OK about that.
I have a couple more months of peace and serenity before I have to worry again.
