If the Blazers get less than 20 wins, fire Chauncey.

If we replace Billups in season, are there any available head coaches or top up-and-coming assistants that would be a good fit for our young rebuild? I would love to have someone in place earlier than later to guide our rebuild. Bill ups should be an assistant somewhere, not a head coach.
Yep, this is my concern. I'm starting to think he's worse than I imagined. It probably needs to be fairly short because I don't want all of these young players developing early bad habits.
True. Those guys don't generally build dynasties.Billups production has been in a line with what I would expect of a coach who got a head coaching job with only one year of assistant coaching experience.
why bump this? its one game with a whole new squad and against a good defensive team.bump
We look like what we are, the youngest team in the NBA, with a rookie 19 year old PG, all new faces to the team and against a good defensive team.We look uncoached.
And last years excuse? The year before? We look like what we are, the youngest team in the NBA, with a rookie 19 year old PG, all new faces to the team and against a good defensive team.
Newsflash, Popovich wouldn't be able to make this team look good.
the year before? where we had a team that Neil put today, Dame not 100% and shut down early for the season with surgery and us trading and breaking up the team? Last year, we started hot and fizzled, once Winslow went out it was all down hill. Newsflash, we didn't have a good team the last two seasons, and the same is said for this season. And last years excuse? The year before?
if u think terry stotts returns n coaches up matisse thybulle n jerami grant n a rookie starting pg to outplay westbrook kahwi leonard n paul george u probably do hard drugs
This is what's known as a straw man. Yes, we expect to lose to the Clippers. But (a) we're not judging Chauncey on THAT ONE GAME, and (b) you can lose and still look like you know what you're doing. We didn't do that.if u think terry stotts returns n coaches up matisse thybulle n jerami grant n a rookie starting pg to outplay westbrook kahwi leonard n paul george u probably do hard drugs
Adjustments are nice, but that's for down the road—let's start with a clear-headed offensive and defensive scheme where it doesnt look like the players are late/early/confused all the time.Chauncey doesn’t seem like he has the strategic chops to make quick tactical moves, adjustments, tricks on the fly, etc.
It’s not the record. It’s the schemethe year before? where we had a team that Neil put today, Dame not 100% and shut down early for the season with surgery and us trading and breaking up the team? Last year, we started hot and fizzled, once Winslow went out it was all down hill. Newsflash, we didn't have a good team the last two seasons, and the same is said for this season.
Maybe you guys need to come to grips that this team just isnt good and overrating players.
Why did the Spurs, with the best or one of the top coaches in NBA history have a worse record than us last season? LMAO!
Or why did the Spurs have a losing record the last 3 seasons with Hall of fame coach?
Please answer me those last two questions.
Nobody expected this team to outplay the Clippers.if u think terry stotts returns n coaches up matisse thybulle n jerami grant n a rookie starting pg to outplay westbrook kahwi leonard n paul george u probably do hard drugs
