Hickson has no offense to speak of. His post moves aren't very refined and he's a very spotty mid-range shooter. He does most of his damage on buckets off of put backs and dunks fed to him at the rim.

As for what Faried is worth, apparently the answer is giving up Andre Miller and having to suffer through Raymond Felton for a year ... so whatever a year's supply of Rolaids costs.

I would take Faried over Hickson, probably not on our team though since Hickson can somewhat get away with playing center. No way Faried could play center for us which would annoy LMA.

With that said, I'd give Faried $7 million a year.

I was looking at a couple comparative statistics: rpg and ppg. I made the list quickly. Feel free to expand on it or even list additional possible comparisons.

From the aforementioned list, David Lee and Al Horford score quite a bit more than Hickson. As you said, Chandler's defense is light years better.
