I watched MAYBE a couple games total.

This season had no reason to watch whatsoever. We knew what we had in ant, sharpe was always injured, we had no Identity. Scoot wasn't good enough for a long enough period of time to ever care.

And the great part was, I don't feel bad for not watching.

I canceled my NBA League Pass in late January. I watched nearly every game to that point and now only watch highlight/condensed replay on YouTube.

I watched enough to be able to say "we" and get smug and brag about when they win.

Then I'll wake up.

missed more games on tv than i have in the past 15 yrs.

also have been to more games in person this year than ever before.

thanking my 3 month unexpected layoff from work for both.

I don't watch any of them live. But I do watch 90% of them, using the fast-forwarding feature.

I watched every game but bailed after AS break because there were too many made up injuries and Sharpe was out. Yes, Scoot came back but we were starting Rupert so.. no.

4 or so games live in arena. Have watched most of the games, like normal. If I'm busy, whether we're good or not, I don't watch. But otherwise have games on during dinner prep, dinner, cleanup from dinner. I'd say usually 80%of the games. Hasn't changed much by our talent level.

I’ve probably watched parts of 80% of the games. I sometimes bail on the game if they fall too far behind. I keep an eye on the score and tune back in if the game gets interesting.

What pisses me off the most is how few of the games had even close to a full complement of the team available. We know the team is a long from competing, but really don’t have much idea of which of the puzzle pieces fit well and which have to be dumped.

not much really, but my father was also diagnosed with lung cancer stage 3a at age 55 couple weeks ago, so Basketball is not really my priority right now.

Only a couple games. But, its not because of our team. It is because I dislike listening to Calabro.

JFizz!

Watch like I did with the Mike's. Audio off and radio on.

I would watch more if they figured out how to distribute. Went to more games this year, eliminating the need for TV. Lots of cheap or free tickets.

Most of the games early and I don't think I've watched even one since the trade deadline.

Watched most but must admit turned off at half more than previous years. I watch a lot of sports and I find the older I get (and Im old) the easier it is to get burned out watching.

No fair weather fan here. I watched every game.
The problem for me is you’ve never heard any of players say “we’ve gotta win this game” and you never saw anyone upset when we lost. They weren’t trying to win. The coach definitely wasn’t. I simply can’t care if they don’t. When they’re trying again, I’ll watch. This has nothing to do with being a fair weather fan.

This 100%. You're not more of a fan just because you watch when we suck. I just refuse to care if they don't. Once they do, I will. If we were at least competitive....

These games are practice. Yes, I'm talkin' 'bout PRACTICE. I enjoy watching and evaluating the young players and I find entertainment in both the good and the bad. I mean, I'm on the edge of my seat every time Murray shoots a three. It's the exact same form every time, but will it be a swish3, a brick, an airball, or hit a fan in the fifth row? Tune in and find out!

Why are we here? Isn't that really the question? I mean.....if we weren't here, we wouldn't be commenting on this.

To get easy links to other Blazer info?
Root for the team/owner/players/coaches?
Complain about the team/owner/players/coaches?
Be witty?
Be sarcastic?
Be real? (whatever the fuck that means)
Hang with others whom you feel a comradery with?

The partial list of reasons fans might continue to watch Blazer games this season are:

Fans of the Blazers regardless of their record/ stature/effort
Fans of basketball, period
Fans of the broadcast team (I love the duo we have)
Desire to see young folks as they grow
Desire to see the coach grow
Have a basket of tomatoes and no where else to throw them

I find it odd that one would stay here, if they hated who the team was, where they were going,
and who they are owned and coached by. But, we all choose why we are...or we are not here.
Personally, if I stopped watching the games, you would not see me posting my drivel here anymore.
That would be like staying in a miserable marriage, so you could keep on making sure the world
knows just how miserable you are. Oh, one more thing......no amount of complaining or supporting
the team here, will ever affect the team. Ever.

Think the only game I watched start to finish in real time was the win over the Bucks (figured the season wasn't going to get any better after that one) and maybe a handful of bits and pieces. Working my job and getting home at 11pm central time means the games are usually in the 4th quarter, so I might tune in but usually they are getting their doors blown off at that point when I check the score and there doesn't seem to be much of a point. I will watch the occasional YT condensed game or highlight reel but mostly just check out the box scores and see the chatter on here. It does me well enough to keep up with my text thread chats but my dad was pretty surprised when I told him how checked out I was on the season. The Blazers (and Cougs don't get me started there) are the only teams we share a rooting interest in and even if the season is a total shit show, just getting the chance to discuss with him keeps me at least somewhat engaged.

I skipped the Minnesota game on that road trip from hell, watched every other game.
