For me, my family is not very religious. We'll go to church on Christmas, Easter, and a Sunday maybe 3 times in the year.

I actually think you and I have talked about this before over IM. Those people are idiots, Islam is probably the closest religion to Christianity, and both have same roots.Ever since September 11th occurred, people told me that Islam was wrong and that that's the devil's religion. I began contemplating whether or not that was true... Then I started thinking about all these religious stories that every religion has. For instance, Moses split the sea.It took me a few years to think it over. I was in the 10th grade (last year) when I finally got around to questioning people about God, Christianity, Islam, Catholicsm, etc. Eventually, I got around to believing that there's no possible way for a superior being to exist because of these following simple facts, which led me to these difficult-to-answer questions:
it says in the Bible that in darker times, man will be seperated from God, when mankind becomes more sinful- Every religious event occurred waaaaaaaaay back in the day... Where is God now?
Theres not many other religions besides the monotheistic religions that involves a god, you have buhddism and hinduism, which are more of spiritial religions. And the mono religions are all derived from the same religion.- There's only one God... Why are there so many different religions?
He didnt lead us, man has his own choices, God doesn't control us. And even though we all have different religions, IMO, muslim, jews, and christians worship the same God basicly.- Since there's only one God... Why did he lead every religion to believe they are the correct religion?
I believe everybody was once a middle-toned skin, but people got lighter, and other people got darker...some never changed. And remember, if you believe in the mono religions, we all basicly started all over with Noah and his family. So we DID all start out as the same color most likely. Here's my logic for a God to not exist:Ancient civilizations, such as the Aztecs and Greeks, believed that there were numerous gods; for example, there was a god of the sea, god of the wind, god of the earth, etc. How did people suddenly go from a million gods to one? Then I started to think that maybe because there weren't set laws back in the day to handle everyone, leaders began coming up with religion as a way to stop people from doing misdeeds. If a person was convinced that a superior being was watching him, he would at least attempt to not do illegal acts.Racial issues also kicked in... Why is it that we are all different races if we all came from Adam and Eve? That makes no sense to me. I've been told that our regions changed us.. Meaning, blacks went to Africa and got dark, Asians went to Asia and looked at the sun for a long time, etc. So does that mean we all started as white people? Does that suddenly mean that white people are the superior race? Why are there so many planets if earth is the only planet that has living, breathing creatures in it? Isn't this "God" fellow just wasting space? Is there even any space to waste?I apologize in case anyone suddenly feels offended. I'm just stating the truth here, fellas. It may not seem like the truth to you, but I sure do believe it is logical to think logically... To think logically, you have to accept the fact that there's no such thing as a God.[/font]
