How should (can) the Nets get rid of Sean Williams?

It's a shame he didn't make all his free throws, he could have had a 40/20 game.

Pretty good for a "garbage player".

Homie you played against the Warriors defense, you might as well have been playing the NY Liberty tonight, meanwhile like I said who created those shots for Lee, one guy take him away and you wouldn't be all rah rah about Lee's performance. Heck Harrington had 26 pts. tonight too, Fugazy had 15/9 and still w/o Chris Duhon + The Turnstile Warriors defense those players would be lucky to get 20 on a given night.

As for David Lee, I said he was developing a jumper, which he is. I believe we were having this conversation around preseason, and if you check the preseason shot chart for David Lee, you can see where I got my evidence. And if you watched the Pistons game you would have seen him nail a couple of midrange jumpers over Rasheed Wallace.

He has no jumpshot any player can hit a wide open shot in the NBA Lee doesn't have 15 - 20 ft. range he is a slasher, alley-oop and pick n' roll player. NO JUMPSHOT.

Harrington actually had 36 points, mostly because he was pumped to play his old team. Tim Thomas has been averaging 14/6/3 after the trade, so this wasn't an extraordinary performance for him. Plus he played well in D'Antoni's system before. And I don't care who you're playing, 40/20 is a good game against an NBA team. And Lee has been averaging 20 PPG after the Randolph trade. All of those players are capable of putting up 20 points on a given night, though they might not be 20 PPG players.

If he can hit a wide open shot, then he obviously has some semblance of a jumper. In preseason, David Lee shot 8-16 from the 15-20 ft. range.

I'd kind of care if I'm playing the league's joke of a defense but whatever.

If that's the case than everybody in the NBA can shoot a jumper. :biglaugh:

The Warriors have played something like 15 games, but I don't remember anyone dropping 40/20 on them.

Lee's game used to only be in the paint, but this is evidence that he's augmented it. It means that if he has an open look from midrange, he has a realistic chance of knocking it down. With further practice, Lee can hit that 15-20 shot on a more consistent basis.

My point was Lee is now finding varieties of ways to score, while Boone can't score without being spoon fed a dunk/layup. Boone, on the other hand is having enough trouble as it is from 15 ft (27% from the line is easily the worst FT% in NBA history!).

Alright if it'll shut you up

David Lee = The White Karl Malone (Happy ?)

Who the hell said Boone was a great player, you see me putting him top anything in the league, he's an energy player likely off the bench, his game is equaled to David Lee's. Nothing great just good. And no you don't saaaaaaaay..... thanks nobody here doesn't know Boone can't hit FTs to save his life, if free throws were charity he'd be a grinch, just like nobody knew knew Lee can't defend a light post to save his life.

Don't put words in my mouth. Lee had a great game, but I didn't put him on a pedestal. My point is Lee is way better than Boone and this 40/20 game (something I wholeheartedly believe Boone is incapable of doing regardless who he is playing) only adds credence to this. There game is not equal as you suggest.

My fault, 37 points, 21 rebounds, 3 steals.

I meant if he made his free throws, he would have had 40. It's rare considering he's usually good from the line.

Your the one that started this putting words in one's mouth thing, here we were talking about Lee then in a 180 it went back Boone ..WHY ? Since when the fuck were we talking about Boone in here, he wasn't even a thought until you brought him up. As for Lee ok fine 37/21 beautiful do it against a team that cares on defense, everyone from Isola to Don Nelson couldn't believe how horrible the Warrior's D played, they might as well have put card board figures out there last night. Richie Guerin's assist record breaks on a night that the opposing team looked and played like they wanted to go to a strip club. Whatever man.

Well, you did say it, just not today. So, I didn't put any words in your mouth. You also still agree with the notion of Boone being on Lee's level, so it's not at all putting words in your mouth. You also brought up Lee's jumper out of nowhere, so I thought we were back to comparing Lee to Boone.
