How to keep Kanter?

What does Boston have to offer Kanter after they sign Kemba?

Come on Enes. Sign a one year with us. We'll take care of you later.

Pretty please

The more I think about it the more I’d rather let Kanter go and have Collins as the starting/backup center. Spend the money on an actual power forward. Taj or Markieff would be good short term solutions. Then next year when Portland has more money go after someone like Gallinari. Could Collins be a power forward? Sure, but I think he’s better at center, and he prefers it anyway. There are plenty of minutes behind Nurk and he could play next to him in certain situations as well.

we will see how much he really likes portland I guess. can't blame a guy for taking the money but I think he is a guy that values team culture and winning than cash, i could be wrong though

I mean it probably depends on the numbers. He might value culture and winning above making something like 2M more a year, but not above 10M more

Mhh what could that mean

Yes I'm bored fams and i'm reading too much into it. Leave me alone

I'm foreseeing a media tweet saying Hood and Kanter were put off by the Blazers only offering $5.7 million. Even knowing we can't offer more.

He’s staying

2 years, $11,422,000, second year player option.

If I know Danny if he gets the full MLE he will try to split it between two players. But that only can happy if Danny can get sign and trade. But not I heard they will only have 4.8 million. I still think he going to sign with us.

If I had to guess based solely on that GIF, I'd say some unexpected team just offered him a shit ton of money.

If Lakers are otherwise shut out of free agency, expect them to drop some serious cash on Kanter.

I mean, look at the deal they gave Mozgov and they were able to move that....

NM I thought that was another Enes post.

Looks like Nurk knows something we don't.

Enes is staying.

Blazers lose in either scenario.

I think short term we are better with Enis. Long term (after Nurk gets back) we are better off signing a PF. Surprised Taj is a 21% career 3 pt shooter and he is 34 already.

I'd sign Kanter, if possible, and look for a trade between now and the deadline to add a quality PF.
