LMFAO.....this one no shit, I've seen a few times in town, from mattresses on top of roofs of old beat up clunkers, with the passenger holding one side, the driver the other, until they hit 30 mph, then they both lost their grip, and a few cars ran over the box spring, smashing that brand new shag bed as flat as a pancake.........ah, they wanted a firm mattress?

I used to go to Frisco twice a year in the late 70s, early 80s, to Visit my Aunt and Uncle. One morn I read a small but looming article on the front page of the Paper.....

It basically read, 2 Vietnamese Refugees, were caught killing ducks and geese in Golden Gate Park, when questioned at the Jail House, they required an interpreter, and both men, did not literally realize, let alone know, wild game is not kept in City Parks.........seriously.....a small slap on the wrist.

Now there are no cats in Frisco, those refugees ate 'em along with all dogs too.....

Fort Mac Arthur, that must of been one of the nicer bases of Post WWII.....? My youngest Sister, was married at Fort Mac's new look, Park......the barracks being modified for such things as Weddings, et al.

Got to say, I was utterly impressed with the view of the Pacific from Fort Mac.....

Paso Robles nearby, in my early 20s, I'd go looking for decent sized Crabs climbing on the Rocks....It always has amazed me, how close San Pedro and Paso Robles is/was, with Ft. Mac smack dab in b/t......and the polar extreme differences b/t both.....

San Pedro last time I was there in 02, was a utter ghetto to beat all ghetto's, easily as bad off, as Watts, or South Central, East L.A. Pacoima, when the riots of 92 began to burn. San Pedro had a helluva lot of LASD presence during those riots, moreso than the others mentioned, mostly due to Police being shot at.....
