I just had my yearly checkup at the VA and got the Covid, Flu and Shingles vaccines. I follow my primary care givers advice when it comes to vaccines. I'd never had a shingles vaccine but talked to a vet with shingles in the lobby and when the doc offered it, I took the shot given how horrible that condition sounds.

About 7 years ago I had shingles. Fuck it was terrible, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone

I was in my mid-20s so I’m assuming it’ll be back at least once before I can get the vaccine

At 71, I certainly don't want to deal with it. I have to go back in March and get the second shot, it's a two step vaccine.

I’ve had both my shingles shots. My anti-vaxxer brother did not, and guess what? He had a brutal case of shingles last spring. He got it in his mouth and throat and had to spend a couple nights in the hospital.

I did the first night. Slight fever and sore arm. Didn’t sleep well that night. After a couple days it was fine

I’m getting my flu shot today. Gonna wait a couple days for my COVID booster so my arm doesn’t get too sore.

I was pretty stiff the next day. But not bad.

Seriously though. I've seen a solid 1/2" increase in both length and girth for each COVID vaccine I've received.

Black box warning is given to drugs so dangerous they are used only in extreme cases, such as certain chemo drugs used when less toxic alternatives don't work.
They claim without evidence ten children died from Covid vaccine. They provide no information about age, state of health or any other information. Millions of children have received Covid vaccine without serious side effects. Except they didn't die of Covid.
