Not happy. If you're starting Melo then you're probably not a very good team. I like him off the bench though.

Yeah, this year after the COVID stoppage I decided that it really was useless and pointlessly annoying to others to voice my misgivings about the roster after that roster couldn't be changed. So from the trade deadline until we have been eliminated I will not say a word about who we should or shouldn't have on the team, just what I think we should be doing with them we will then either be privileged to have or stuck with. That doesn't mean I'll never float the idea that CJ should start coming off the bench, especially if Gary continues to improve like he has been.
Yeah my problem is that I won't let something, even as infuriating as the organizations blind loyalty to the Dame/CJ back court, keep me from watching all of the games and following the team really closely. So it's a constant sore spot for me but I still love watching Dame, Nurk and Gary a lot, I'm really excited for RoCo, I'm hopeful Zach, Nas, Ant and Wenyen can show huge growth, I really want Hoodie back and healthy and I'm hoping they really limit the time Dame and CJ are on the court together and when CJ does have his time he makes better decisions on offense. That being said our perimeter defense will be the worst in the league and it really is all because we have the worst starting perimeter defender in the NBA.That was intended as a joke, but I understand. I have been a lifelong fan attending games almost every year for years. I have been so incredibly bored of this CJ version of the team that I haven’t been watching the team at all the last two years. It’s been incredibly predictable and boring, and I just can’t stand CJ or his style of play either.
Admittedly I did watch the games in the playoffs in 2019 though, and did have fun doing it. But until they do something different I have found it extremely difficult to get invested in the current iteration of the team.
Yeah, I keep seeing guys say that but why is Melo going to like that? If he's going to be a limited backup player he will likely do that on a team with a much greater chance of getting him a ring than we have. He liked it here last year because he felt like an important part of the team, he didn't need to be the focus but I think he still needed to feel valued... 15 minutes isn't going to get him to that feeling of value.I like him as a 15 min backup, but not a starter
