Mainland China's one child policy has put men ahead slightly.and only really recently..and these are the ones who stay in china....for many years it was the opposite...the Phillipines on your map is white...meaning? Russia, Korea, Japan, SE Asia,....many Asian countries are pink and red even on your map...but I know men have no problem finding wives there....Taiwan is painted grey? Phillipines is white? Not understanding this map...also a lot of Asian women leave the homeland for the very reason of finding a husband...Notice American pink here....my wife is here...born in Taiwan...as are many Asian women...in Russia as well..I would assume many middle eastern countries also have a flood of women leaving the region for better circumstances. Sadly female babies are also victims in many of those places as the culture wants male heirs....let's say...many don't survive this practice. millions study abroad and work in the medical and science depts. all over the globe..often marrying outside the homeland..if you count native born and not just those that reside in the homeland , I think this map looks different.
