I almost got blacklisted at work when they came around for donations for a coworker who was out with a medical thing for almost a year.

My exact words were "get fucked"

The guy with the envelope just walked away. The next few days my boss looked at me funny.

I let it go for a little longer and finally told him why.

A couple of years earlier the guy hit on my wife at a company Christmas party. Not beating him senseless that night was far more charitable than he deserved.

My boss, being the same angry type of person as me smiled and said "fuck him then"

So far. This shit isnt over. Now the rivers become the issue. I am by a major river that is supposed to crest Saturday. It could easily flood my entire neighborhood. All , or most of the flooding you see on the news is above me. At dome point that has to flow down through me and to the gulf.

I had a dog that hated swimming, I throw him into a lake or river and he would immediately try and drink the entire thing.
