I know that there are many hypothetical questions around sports.

Would Jimmie Fox have broken the single home run season record had he not I think? something like 12 of his home runs were called foul balls that in any other park would've been home runs (I don't remember the park).

Or had Ted Williams not served in the military for 3 years, would he have hit 400 again? Considering he hit .400 when he was 22 (!)..

Or had Jordan not retired in 93, would the Bulls have won 8 straight titles? Would he have caught up to Kareem for all time scoring title?

Jordan was bored and needed a change of pace. If he hadn't taken refuge in baseball, he wouldn't have won 3 more titles. Maybe 1 or 2.

If Jordan didn't play baseball; he would have passed Kareem's scoring record

If Jordan hadn't retired (meaning he wasn't bored, but still hungry), he'd have won 11 or 12 straight titles, because the Chicago front office would have realized by Title #8 that organizations don't, in fact, win championships. Jordan wins championships. And he would have gone for Boston's record.

I don't understand the subject of the thread. You started a thought but didn't finish it. Are you posing those three hypothetical situations for discussion, or are you asking for other hypothetical sports situations?

If it's the latter, I'm sure ya'll Blazer fans will have plenty to look at with the #1 picks, and I've got a similar "what if" situation with the Grizz... the Otis Thorpe trade.
