Game Thread I-5 Nightmare Day! Wake Forest @ OSU, Indiana @ UofO! Both games start at 12:30pm

You come off a bye week and your offense is that inept. It’s on coaching really. I love my Ducks but I’ve always called a spade a spade. That was pathetic

I was actually concerned about Oregon line play even in the early games against inferior opponents, both on defense and offense. It's odd because I thought Lanning was trying to build his strength in those areas.
Also one thing I noticed. Their backs and receivers seemed to gain a lot more extra yards after catch than our guys, Part of it sloppy tackling but maybe they were just stronger? Indiana definitely deserved to win. Oregon had one score on that long pass and one on an interception, not much otherwise. Indiana play calling seemed better but maybe it was just better execution.

Coach never has team ready for the big game. And we should’ve blown out Penn State.

Indiana was superior in about every way

* better on defense
* better on offense
* better coaching
* better halftime adjustments
* more physical on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball

Ducks got punched in the mouth, lost some teeth, and ended up on the mat. Now comes the hard part of getting up off the mat and winning later rounds. Lanning & staff will be tested

one thing: on just about every play when Indiana got pressure on Moore, it was from an unblocked front-7 guy. It was like Stein had never seen a 4-3 defense before

This is when you see what coaches are all about. Franklin has proven a flake

So lagoon or geometrical? Actually with Orange Jesus ruining America, I should probably save it

Save it.

I think it speaks volumes about how bad OSU is, and how the death of the Pac 12 happened, that I just don't care that OSU is 0 for their last like 90 games, and the Ducks lost.

Happy for MM tho.

yeah it kind of sucked but like I said earlier in the thread, the Ducks lost to a clearly better team with a better game plan. Hard to get too upset about that
We all know that was a close game. Who knows what happens if that D lineman slapped that INT down instead of popping it up? Anyway, it's a loss. Hopefully the team runs the table and ends up facing the Hoosiers again in the playoffs and the Ducks prove that they're actually the better team. A turnabout from what happened last season.

Well that sucked. The Ducks seemed flat maybe believing their hype/deflated coming off an emotional high post Penn State, but Indiana definitely deserved the win as they won in the trenches more times then not on both sides of the ball... hats off to them. Dante was well off target a lot too, was something wrong or what... not sure what to make of that. Anyhoo, hopefully the loss galvanizes the players, but also Stein's offense seemed predictable at times as to where they'd be going with the ball based on personnel & down/distance. Time to reverse some tendencies.

6 sacks is what I'm thinking. He obviously doesn't like getting hit like that. Another issue was 81 rushing yards. Ducks were absolutely without a running game and that always hurts the passing game. Then the type of passing game they were using was the exact same that they used against Penn State. Short screen plays and tosses to the flank. That passing game has been scouted. Sadiq was targeted 3 times all game and only had 2 rec for 21 yards. Hoosiers took him out of the game.

Here is a stat that stand out.
Fernado Mendoza 6 carries for 31 yds. Over 5 yards a carry. Only 1 sack.
Donte Moore 9 carries for -27 yards . -3 per carry. 6 sacks.

I'd say Moore is no longer a Heisman candidate.

You have to look for the bargains. I can see myself spending multiple minutes during the summer in that pool
Make sure you get a nice step ladder for ease of access. With handles for safety. Remember there will be no lifeguard on duty.
