Anyone over 30. Honest, doesn't it feel good to be out of your 20's? Of course, everyone wants to be younger. But I am liking this close to 30 stuff. No more kid drama. Finally growing up.

It feels good.

didn't really make a difference at all to be honest. i thought I would trip out but i really didn't.

Turned 29 and 12 months in June...I am now 29 and 15 months

...see what I did there? :ghoti:

and happy birthday

It's a pity. I thought you were 15 after reading your homeless people should die in the streets remark. If you were 15 it would be no big deal, being almost 30 makes me sad. Over one million homeless people in America are children for godsake!

Congrats old man... I started counting my age backwards every year after 30 so I'm just a teenager now.

I don't mind the kid drama or my own immaturity but can't really speak for the people in my life who have to deal with me though.

You probably believe that there are actually 47 million people who can't get health insurance, either. These inflated numbers are thrown around by the Left every time they're trying to a) pass a radical piece of legislation through Congress, or b) just remind everybody what a horrible place America is.

man, you're fucking old! just kidding

10-12-15-20 million illegal immigrants? Where the fuck are they living? Tents? Considering they live about 15 to a house on average, that leaves roughly enough homes for each homeless American to have a place.

Seems simple doesn't it?

On topic, happy birthday. 29 and 30 didn't seem like much to me but I just turned 35 and that had me thinking. I can no longer say I am in my early 30s. Kinda sucks. Oh well, don't feel old mentally.

Go hug a tree hippy. Better yet, why don't you go to the store, buy some food and go give it to a homeless dude. Go do it now. And report back to me.

He is doing tons better! Got back from the doc a couple hours ago.
Guess what smart guy all I do every day is help homeless folks and other disadvantaged people. That's an awesome attitude you have for your fellow americans bro way to think of the children. I was hoping for a "Man you're right, I said it in a moment of anger." type of response. Guess that was too much to hope for.

Hmm, demographics show the majority of homeless children are white. Have compassion now?

only 16 year old girls feel old mentally, and the people who are don't know where they are:devilwink:

Guess what smart guy all I do every day is help homeless folks and other disadvantaged people. When you get laid off in the next few months I will work on getting you some resources. If you liked the 08 crash you will LOVE the 2009/10 version. That's an awesome attitude you have for your fellow americans bro way to think of the children. way to shit on someone's birthday:cheers:

Always did. People like you turn the other cheek while our natural born citizens suffer.

If you want to assume that I don't feel for homeless people, assume away.

How do you help homeless people every day? Volunteer? Get paid?

He more or less shit on my profession an millions of Americans so there you go. Besides I wouldn't bake someone who advocated mass murder / euthanasia a cake, even if it was there birthday. Here is the Birthday boy's pearls of wisdom.

It is pretty much a hell hole in that part of town anyways. Streets are filled with failures in life.

I am mixed on this structure though. Why put it up? Why give people who don't deserve it a place to live? Homeless people are loser, drug addict fucking idiots who fucked up in life so bad that now they live on the street. I feel no remorse. You can ALWAYS find some kind of job. These losers failed at life and don't deserve our tax dollars for this.

But then again, if it gets their nasty, disgusting asses off the streets so I do not have to look at their filthy, worthless, waste of a human life faces then I am okay with it.

In response of what to do to fix the homeless problem he offers up a solution...

The answer is let them die on the streets. These people do not deserve a place to live. They are worthless piles of shit who fail at life.

I'm done with this forum the reasonable folks are out numbered or at least out vitrioled. This forum is a microcosm for the country.

I have been involved with numerous different advocacy groups paid and unpaid to address this and other things. You were defending Mr. "Let them die in the streets" I assumed by your response you were on the same page. My bad if you aren't. I agree that illegals should be deported by the way, but I don't think that would help the homeless problem much.

I don't know what he said, don't care. His remark won't sway anyone any more than the Heil Hitler stuff does for health care. It was his birthday thread so I took his defense as a natural reaction. Sorry.

that is an awful thing for him to say.

No probs and to be fair I hope Dante has a great birthday and gains some respect for his fellow humans. I also hope that he is never as unfortunate as those he would rather see dead then stain his sight. I was hoping he would relent and say it was silly. Stupid of me to bring it up.

Dante I apologize for being a dick in your birthday thread. I do hope you rethink your position on the homeless.

The next time I'm at a Blazers game that free chalupa coupons are handed out, I'm seriously considering collecting all that I can from whomever (many people don't even want/use them), then stick them in my glove box. When I'm at a stoplight and a transient/homeless person asks for money, I'll hand him/her a couple.

Couldn't hurt.

Of course it could, think of how badly the public would view homeless people if they were all fat.

My girlfriend used to want to give them money but we keep a box of chewy granola bars in the back seat most of them time. The best part is that they are in the car in Vegas so they stay nice and soft. MMM, chewy granola bars.......(homer voice)

I used to be nicer to them but they sneak up on you here now, seriously.

Naw. I woke up this morning and I still feel like homeless people failed at life and deserve no help from tax payers. It is not my fault they decided drugs over a job.

Now homeless CHILDREN... that is a different story. They cannot go get a job. They cannot provide for themselves. So yes. Homeless KIDS have my heart. But homeless adults get no love from me.

It's not about "respect for fellow humans" to me. Rapists, murderers and even George Bush are human. That doesn't mean I have to respect them. You cannot sit here and tell me that 90% of homeless ADULTS have not had a history with drugs and making bad decisions in their lives. I do not have respect for failed drug addict fucks who fucked up their life SO MUCH that they can't even get a part time job pumping gas to get a studio apartment and feed themselves.

Dante I apologize for being a dick in your birthday thread. I do hope you rethink your position on the homeless.

No worries. I am the last person on this forum who deserves any kind of apology from anyone. I dish it out, and I can take it too.

You are right, that wouldn't hurt. And don't get me wrong. I give coins to the veterans on the freeway if I have spare. If I have a gatorade or an extra taco in my car from my way back to lunch, I will give it to a bum too. But in the back of my head I KNOW... that he would rather have a beer or a bag of weed. Or some meth.

Just last week, my friend saw a bum sleeping on the sidewalk by his house. He brings the man something to drink (green tea) and a blanket. The man turned down the green tea and asked for beer. He took the blanket though.

Anyhow...
