The games are not sold out. Go to Ticketmaster. Go to NBATickets.com. Go to StubHub.com. Go to SeatGeek.com. There are hundreds of tickets available. I just got a ticket to each game myself. Who is foolish now? Ouch.

“Portland is great, and the energy here is unbelievable,” Benson told the Pelicans Radio Network and WRNO-FM. “If we can get that type of energy in New Orleans, we will win every game we have. We just need to get more people in the stands in New Orleans.”

Benson agreed with Kelley’s assessment that the solution to filling those Smoothie King Center seats is the “gazillion dollar question”.

“I really have no idea,” Benson said. “Hopefully the playoffs will encourage people to come and we try to give them the best game day experience we can. People always buy say a ticket at a price of $150 and turn around and sell it on ticket Master for $200 the Moda was sold out days before game one but we still were able to buy tickets to the game the day of the game.

I buy and resell at times. Thus... not sold out because tickets are still for sale.
When no tickets are for sale, then it is truly sold out. until then you are just trying to fool yourself.

And if that ticket doesn't sell, often those seats remain empty. Thus, not sold out.

Someone may be reporting it as a sellout but I just went on line and had my choice of tons of different tickets available.
