The atmosphere was electric. Halftime show was great. Fans showed up and showed out. As well as our team. KingSpeed I know you had on Blazers gear but did the fans treat you ok? I hope they showed some southern hospitality but I also know how it gets when alcohol is consumed.

I haven't read the thread, but the best thing to come out of this playoff series is all the proof we ever need that KingSpeed's word has zero credibility.

Can we please exchange that guarantee for a promise to never again create a thread in this forum? That would be almost as satisfying as a respectable showing by the Blazers.

If/when I have kids, it'll always be "If you work harder than everyone else, you'll have a chance to be whatever you want." Doesn't close the door on anything but gives them the right mindset.

"You can be whatever you want" is naive, and puts the idea in kids minds that all they have to do is want to be something in order to succeed. That's so far from the truth.

What are you freaking out about? I was saying BonesJones was right! If he stuck with the bet he initially made, he'd have $50. He would've won the Orlando bet too!

Wait, @HCP gets called out for not being positive enough on his season prediction. @KingSpeed gets called out for being too positive on a couple of playoff road games.

Uhhh, I don't think an actor spending a few bucks on going to a game or two is a huge sacrifice.

I don't have a problem (at all) with King posting these threads. In fact, I even approve of them. But if you are wrong, step up and admit it after. Just like you would if you were right. Saying someone else was right is not the same as coming out and manning up that you were wrong. We all have misses. It happens. No reason to worry about it if you handle it right.

I am not a mod to compare this to myself as one, but this seems over the top for one to me. It is like you are equating it to our one major rule we have here and this isn't that (even close) at all.
