This thread might be useless as probably 3-4 of us drive.But be glad you guys ride free on school buses.
 
I'm sick of people whining about paying a little more for gas considering all the problems in Africa/MiddleEast not to mention we pay nothing compared to most countries. Go buy your $40 pants, buy your $13 CD, go have a $50 cell phone bill but don't complain to me when you have to spend a few more dollars for gas. The only people that have a right to complain are the farmers who already have little money who have to use tons of fuel.
 
Compared to other things sold by the gallon, gas is pretty cheap. Just think how much you pay for a 12 ounce coke. a gallon of milk. Cologne. lots of stuff.
 
Yeah, but you buy gas more often then you by coke. And you waste it a lot faster.

Damn. I think the most I spent on jeans/pants were like 20-25 bucks, some lower. Also, I buy a cd like once a year. I just download from the net if I like a song, why waste money on a cd when you might like a song or two on a cd. I don't care about the cell bill because it stays the same, instead of increasing.
 
I dont have to worry about Gas...I work at a gas station that the owner lets his employees get free gas! its great!!!
 
I would expect gas prices to hit 3 dollars around Memorial Day. Gas prices always go up on Memorial day, eve before the problems with gas we have right now. Ahh this is bad. <Censored> went up 10 cents over night, wtf
 
I'm talking about dumb people in general. Oil is always changing, it's not like music or clothes, gas is a political issue and what your getting comes from all over the world.

I'm sick of the rising gas prices. The reason everyone complains is that some days it's cheap, some days its more expensive. I know that it's economy and all, but not everyone follows it. They just hope to get lucky with prices. Most times, when people think that they got the best deal, it turns out the price drops even more. Kind of Ironic.
 
Boycott Exxon and Mobil, it actually is a scheme that could possibly work.
 
I don't know how much it is in the U.S., but up here it's about over a dollar, and that is a lot I think because I remember when it was like 60- cents.And it's only gonna go up.

Basically the only way to bring gass prices down - 2 things need to happen,no political problems in the middle east, and the demand for gasoline needs to go down. tahts it. And yes, gas will be going to 3 + by the time summer comes.
 
I still remember those days when gas was 1-something. Too bad those days will never come back again.

I think thats reasonable, theres people out there paying $75-80+ for pants..$40 isnt bad if you ask me..

I got unlimited texts, so mines not as bad as it used to, but it used to get up there..Fact is gas prices are high and its expensive..We have all the right to complain, and someone is loving it how they can raise the prices and still make as much money as they want..Its a great bussiness to be in, but theres no way you can be happy about paying that much for gas no matter who you are..
 
i just think paying a shitload for pants cause of the brand is gay, pants are pants, plus i live way down south in texas so i only need pants for month or two out of the year, the rest of the time it's shorts for me..................... i pay my uncle 16 bucks a month i have no idea why, he just told me that's how much it cost, i guess he has a deal with the company he works for
 
I dont care what brand my pants are but I want something that I like so it ends up being around that price..I dont think thats gay..At least theyre not girl pants..Clothes are expensive, thats just the way it is, that doesnt make it gay if you care what kind of clothes you have and you are willing to pay more for it..
 
tight pants is gay... they wear it. Up north we wear pants a lot so we style wit pants, even though i dont spend over $50 for no damn pants. It does not make u homo cause u wear high priced pants. It makes u stupid if u don't got the money for it and other necessities. And 2 gas prices well, im glad there is MTA even though u can get sick from all those ppl underground.

I dont think most of us are living day to day where we need to count every penny..I think this is a really overblown argument..Im not going to lie, thats what I pay for pants and I accept that, I dont think its a big deal and I dont really care what you guys think about it because personally I like the clothes I wear...I dont care how much they cost, but if theyre nice and I like them Ill prob get them regardless of the price whether its 30$ or 40$..
 
well i guess what i mean when i say it's gay, i know some pants are gonna cost you money, but i think it's gay when you HAVE TO have the name brands or you won't wear anything else, now that is what i think is on the gay side, that's what chicks do
 
some people risk buyin money for high priced clothing knowing that they got some money to owe coming up or need to buy something important like Food. I know some ppl like that.

The president has little to do with how high gas prices are. it has to do with the economy. if you guys didnt know, back in the late 70's and early 80's, the economy was doing the same exact thing that its doing right now. Gas was sky high. And who was in office at this time??? was it a Republican or a Democrat?? of all people it was Jimmy Carter. now later on in the 90's we had this big economic bang during the Bill Clinton Administration. Well guess what?? right before the low economy of the late 70's and early 80's there was a nice economice bang as well. thats what it does. Within the decade the economy will start raising back up and be just as productive as it was in the 90's.
