I told you LMA didn't want to be traded. Maybe you'll listen to me next time.

You're using the generic "you", right? I thought the entire last week here was silly, because LMA's only words since the season were how he was willing to stick around, and sees the team getting better.

I've never considered you generic. You're very original.

"I haven't demanded a trade."

We now know that he has politely requested a trade. If he hadn't, he would say, "I haven't asked for a trade, and I want to remain a Blazer for a long time."

It is great that he has said this.

This gives the team some room and some time.

But what LaMarcus didn't say was important as well.

He didn't say: "I want to be a Blazer for a long time. I know it might take a couple of years to improve the team, but I am on board with that process."

I don't really think much has changed, ie., LaMarcus has told the team he wants to see significant improvement in the roster and very soon. If they can't get that done for whatever reason they should look to move him to a more competitive team, thank you."

He is not demanding a trade. He is demanding action. I don't blame him. And I agree. The team either needs to get some more talent soon, or they need to move LaMarcus.

Honestly, in today's NBA, there is no loyalty. If he wants to see improvements or he'll bolt, he can. It's not like it'd be unheard of.

I think it's not his style though. I think he would politely ask to be traded; and do everything behind the scenes.

He is not howard

How hard to they go after Pekovic now?

He's the best C available, by far.

What really has me worried is that Lillard hasn't released an email saying he doesn't want to be traded.

He did, though. The morons in the local media completely forgot about it, though.

On rebuilding period:

“I'm excited that it should go faster than everyone thought. I'm happy that Damian is the player that they thought he was going to be, and even better. That makes the process go faster. And now if you add one or two pieces, we're good and we can go back to the playoffs.”

Needs this offseason?

“Just a big that clogs the paint, blocks shots. Just a real paint player. A guy that lives in the paint, eats rebounds for breakfast and dinner. Just plays hard.”

Elaborate on rebuilding process:

“Well, this year was a down year. I think it was better than what everyone thought it would be. It ended bad, but I think if we had one or two pieces this summer and then we have one okay season and I think that following season we should be good.”

I assume by him saying "we" he was including himself. If the team still sucks in two years, he should leave, and I wouldn't blame him.

And he just proved how "credible" on blazerville he is! Lmao!!!!

Ben Golliver is my friend. Don't you be talkin' about my friend that way. Geez, have YOU ever made a mistake?! :MARIS61:

Seems as though Golliver made something up, though, or reported something without actually asking LMA about it. :dunno:

Just typical draft hype. I'm glad LA finally nipped it in the bud because even I was thinking about what we could get for him. I get his position, he likes it here and see's that we are on the upward swing. You can't blame a guy for wanting to win, if not here then somewhere.

It's all good. I was green-fonting. Mags. I thought he was still here.
