I haven't had a cold this bad in years

So this just happened.

Wake up from nap. Hot and achy.

Stumble out to the living room. Think, *I should eat.*

Stumble to kitchen. Look everywhere for soup. Find can of beef broth. WTF?!? Keep looking.

Realize I'm still hot and achy but now getting headache.

Think, *I should have some tylenol.*

Walk to where we keep the tylenol in bathroom medicine cabinet. But before I grab it I realize I need water to drink it down with.

So I leave.

Go to kitchen. Realize I don't have my favorite mug (not sure why I couldn't use a glass, wanted my mug.) or tylenol.

So I leave.

Go to my home office.

Ahhh... my mug.

Walk back to where Tylenol is. Look down, realize I have no water in cup.

I leave.

Get water in mug.

Go sit at desk.

Look down

No tylenol.

FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

Hope you feel better broseph, i loathe being sick. Last year i got the flu and about 2 days into feeling better i got strep throat.

Your symptoms are what I had for three days right after getting my shots. Never felt so weak and sore in my life. I swear it was the flu shot that made me sick, or at least something I caught at the doctor’s office.

You ain't going to die! It ain't that easy. I got a cold three days after Thanksgiving. I figured the grandsons delivered it. Thought I was damn near over about two weeks later like normal, but it got worse. My nose got so fucking sore from the continuous wipe. I got to the point of a whole bottle of Nyquille to get through the night. Needed a steamer to melt out the clog in the morning.
Just joined the living this past week. Grand kids probably delivered two different versions, one for Thanksgiving, another for Christmas.

They basically give you a weak version of the flu with those. Which temporarily taxes your immune system and opens you up to catching other shit. Not to mention the vaccinate for like 3 strands when there are thousands. Flu shots are a fucking big pharma scam. They bank on that shit every year.

I got the flu shot when it came out in October.
 
Being a former wastewater treatment guy and a former cigarette smoker, I got into the habit of washing my hands almost constantly.....and have continued to do so even after retiring from both the job and tobacco. I can say with utter certainty it goes a long way towards keeping colds and other illnesses at bay. Also, with grandkids of elementary school age, I religiously wipe down tables, counters and other hard surfaces with disinfectant wipes, especially during cold and flu season. And for what its worth, I've never, ever had a flu shot and I've only had the flu once in the past 43 years......

I swear to god one of you guys gave it to me at the meet, Or I got it at Xmas with the family, but I have been sick ever since. I thought I was getting over it after new years, but then a second wave hit me hard. Spent half the day asleep today.
Ive never been this bad this long.

I recommend getting a ginger root...dicing it up and boiling some water.....drink as much as you can handle...tastes like shit but no cold can survive the hot ginger root flush

Probably me. I was just starting to feel a little off that day. And now, I've got the full on Sly-itis.
