I just returned it...I thought the main charactors were cool...the settings...but the shooting and stuff just was not for me. I just don't think it's as good as people make it out to be in the single player...The story was dumb, the monsters were dumb...the action and sound was fantastic...but the shoot out's and weapons were lame....the chainsaw gun was cool but I didn't find myself able to hardly use it.

I love playing that game.Me and my friend beat it on all the levels and then went online and kicked some ass.Game rules.

It's more for a hardcore gamer I guess, and it's fun to play online. It is a bit bland when it comes to features though.

I wasn't an overly big fan of it, I'll play it 'til I complete it, but I can't play it for that long and can't really get into it, I keep turning it off and playing CoD3...Now thats a game.

I get bored of some (SOME!) games offline because it has no flare there to keep you gaming. That's a different case for me and sports games. No idea why. It just feels like it is in real life...every game, day by day, it's all the same. Maybe I'm losing my mind.

I thought the story mode is actually very good, but once I beat it I imagine that the game would be boring, unless I got XBox Live and played it online.

lol you gave up on it toooooo fast... Man when I 1st got it I aint like it either. Everything about it is great. Story is great. They made it so you know theres gonna be an other one made.IDK what too tell you bro. you should of waited longer.edit: call of duty 3 sucks balls. they messed that game up sooooooooo bad.. COD 2 was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better. I sold COD3 after like 2 weeks.. I tryed to get use 2 it and couldnt .

It's basically the same game I thought. But I think there's a reason I own CoD2 and I only played CoD3 once.

Well for one different people made the game. Two online play sucks. Just toooo many people running around doing w.e. Levels are a lil to big. COD2 was more of a team game.. The guns in COD3 look ugly.. the shotgun looks like a lil toy. I just think cod2 blows out cod3.

In COD3 (correct me if I'm wrong), there's not even a RANKED Deathmatch on there...you can only play Deathmatch unranked, so you're kind of forced to play mostly team-based games.Of course, you probably mean that people worked together more on COD2 as a real team? Well I can't say much about that since every single person playing on Live is different, and it's hard to work together as a real team all the time.But I'll take COD3 anyday. The big maps are great for online play if alot of people are in playing.

Gears of War is amazing, you're stupid if you like CoD 3 over this game, its action packed, good graphics, good storyline and lots of fun, you just prolly got owned by the berserker every time you tried to fight him.

At first, I was addicted to GOW...loved the campaign...but where really hurts this game is online. Online is down right terrible. The game modes suck, and so do the maps (the levels)As of now, after having it a few months I must say it's probably a 8/10 just due to online...

I played it again today, and im starting to like the game more escpecially the online play, I guess it just takes time to get into it...

CoD3 is shorter than Halo2. I beat the game in about 6 hours. Haven't touched it since.

I personally think that it is a pretty damn good game. Unfortunatley, my disc got scratched like the 3rd day I got it or so, and when I went to return it, they said that they didnt have any more in stock, so I have to wait for a bit. I think that I am going to go this weekend to get a new one. But from what I have played of it, I love it. The graphics are great and the action and fighting is tight.

I thought the single player got a little stale after the 2nd time through but the game is still by far the best the 360 has seen. Any true gamer would know this.
