The service industry gets a bad rep.

Our supervisors encourage us to mess around.

Plus in addition to my paycheck, I take home about $20-30 in food every night. Which isn't that bad, since it seems like my supervisor takes home ~$60-70 in food every night.

You said he should have been fired, but I guess that was facetious and is the opinion of someone not running his own business. I'm guessing he should not have even been hired based on his attitude and his glaring lack of grasp on his native language.

When they hire people who barely can string together a sentence in English, I don't think you're in that much trouble for making a your / you're mistake.

i was sarcastically agreeing with your dumb stance of the importance of "your" instead of "you're".

but yes, it obviously was a case of horrible management. the manager shouldn't have just caved to this woman trying to get discounts that weren't really there.

It was a second job. I own a 2,300 sq foot home, have two cars, and a real job (kohls was just a bonus). I'm 23 years old so my future looks pretty damn good compared to most people my age. But, feel free to continue to think you're better than most people without giving any information out about your personal life (over a message board).

Thanks for sharing. I have one house, two older cars, and don't feel the need to share my latest job failure in a thread that I started. Nice job calling the woman a "c**t", however. Did you put that on your mortgage application?

I guess I should say I'm three years into a 15-year mortgage, not that I own my home. I haven't talked to my dad since I was 18. My mother lives in Seattle and re-married, we only talk on holidays. I have worked for everything I have, and I have put my self in positions to be able to lose thos jobs without having to worry about finances. Thanks for playing.

I don't find the humor/maturity in calling a customer a "c**t" and then quitting your job. Especially when self-admittedly it isn't the first time it has happened. Flame away at me, though.

He worked at Kohls as a second job. If some crazy broad was trying to make me look like a fool for a close to minimum wage job I would tell her to fuck off and find another minimum wage job.

Its a throwaway job, who gives a shit. I will not yield if someone fucks with me, when you make hardnose stances like this in life, you usually end up for the better. The lady was clearly a knieving bitch (from what I gather) and it'd suck working there taking abuse like that.
