I don't care to vote either, my vote is pointless because Obama is going to win Oregon anyways. I want to vote for McCain but it's pointless

Grow some balls, would you? Get out there and vote and take a stand for what you believe in.

If every conservative in Oregon felt the way you did, and stayed home on election day, you'd be handing victory to Obama on a silver platter.

And if all Democrats believe that, then there is no reason for them to go to the polls, either. Everybody can stay home and the state will automatically go to . . . ?

Although I think you guys vote by mail, right?

I live in New Jersey. Last guy to win there was Bush 41 in '88. Obama's going to win by 10+.

I still cast my vote for McCain.

What the hell is the point? My ballots are at my parents house in Portland, I'm not driving there from Corvallis just to vote when its going to be pointless.

It's a lost cause in Oregon, and I'm sorry if you see it otherwise
 
I registered 4 years ago when I didn't know what I wanted to be, so I registered as an independent. If I had to choose between Republican or Democrat now though I would choose Republican.
 
dammit. if people are not going to vote, I want them to be registered republicans so it sends a message to the GOP

Oh, excuse me. I didn't realize it was going to be inconvenient for you to vote. By all means, sit on your couch and watch TV while America makes a crucial decision about the direction it's going to take.
