Yesterday when we were playing a pick-up game at the YMCA I f*cking sprained my ankle hardcore. It was actually okay after 15 minutes and I tried to play again...then I had my defense/tactics class and it was okay, and as soon as I came home and took my shoes off I could hardly fricken walk...and I wake up this morning and I had to call myself out of class and work...I have to get it checked out. :ranting:

Man - thats the worst, I remember when I sprained my ankle I could not even walk after it...I was coming down for a rebound and rolled my ankle on somones foot - it was so damn painful... but yeah...Thats not good - definetly put some ice on that to reduce swelling...and yeah go get it checked out; although I doubt its anything serious.

I think ive broke my hip ( or pulled a muscle near it), so I'm in the pain with you.

I think I've sprained my on so many occasions now, it's like going through the motions. But the first time is a bi*ch. Least you got out of class.

Damn. Ive never sprained my ankles, altough I get pains and kinks n sh*t in my anks all the time, if you naw wot I mean.

Haha, pussies. Sprained them 10+ timesBroken the right oneBone Spurs in the right oneSurgery on both. holla at ya boy

I drink tons of milk, at least 2 glasses at lunch and dinner.. its little things though, like 3-4 times ive rolled them on balls I neglected to move off the courtsI got the surgery because when I broke my ankle it went through my growth plates and my foot woulda grew clubbed and sh*t if they didnt stunt the growthall in all my ankles are F*cked. it sucks a lot, but I started wearing a brace the last few weeks so I should be all set.

I remember I sprained my ankle a couple of months ago. My friend and I brought my court down to eight feet so we can dunk on it. I can dunk on nine feet and touch rim on ten, but that's it. On eight feet, I can do insane windmills and between the leg dunks. Anyway, my friend threw an alley-oop up for me and I jumped up, grabbed it and did a windmill. When I landed, I landed on my friend's foot. My ankle twisted and I hit the ground head first! That hurt!!! Really!!! It was painful!

I have sprained my ankle alot, only serious once or twice. it never hurts me for more than one day. usually sore the next morning but that's it. I sprained my wrist tho last year and it hurt so f'n bad.

aha I sprained my left one in the 2004 summer you know what you mean. I played nthe rest of the game at 80% but when I came home to watch TV it hurt like sh*t

The worst for me was at b-ball camp in a scrimmage. My foot was flat and landed on its side of the shoe when I rolled it. I played through it scored like 20 points or so and still lost on a stupid foul by my team.

Yeah ankle spraining is painful man... but not as bad as when I sprained both my wrists one after another... it's annoying to try handling life with a limp or the inability to wipe your ass properly

My ankle is good right now...hurts in the morning...I will good tomorrow, got 7 hours of pickup games and exercise at the YMCA. 🪨

About the milk thing, it's overrated in America as a healthy beverage. It shouldn't be lamented as that, when it has it's negatives. Mainly talking about whole milk btw.

Yawn. Seriously, spraining is hardly noteworthy. NBA players play through it all the time.

My ankle has hurt alot on a couple of occasions, but Im not sure if those were sprains or just ankle rolls or something.

when you actually sprain your ankle, it is more serious than a roll. the bone is acutally being distorted or whatever.

I don't think "rolling your ankle" is a specific term for anything, but usually people are referring to a sprain. A sprain is just when you stretch the tendon further than it is meant to be stretched.

I have been playing my on my dodgy knee's for ages- I need two knee reconstructions. Geting them done in November. If I jump hard my knees pop out and I cant land- I hit the deck. It kills my jumper and rebounding. I also can't move laterally very well - they pop out then too.

Its very frustrating - especially when I know I could school the guys geting over and around me if I was healthy.
