As he has said himself, "the grass ain't always greener". I think Dame has invested too much to give up now. Plus as he told Custer , the cost to said team wouldn't be low.
I think he's probably frustrated , but sees the bigger picture, and knows the team can still add some valuable veterans with deals in the near future. Joe Cronin said as much. Talking about the preliminary steps being set in place.
There is no guaranty a trade would get him any closer than just staying on course in Portland. Dame can lead this team. And he ain't taking a backseat to no one.

no one is offering him that. Dude was a street FA last season with a bum (though supposedly improving) shoulder and a serious PR no-no on his record. I think he's looking at gladly accepting the Vet's min and running with it...
