You're trippin. Ed played 17 minutes a game and averaged 8 boards per in the playoffs. He barely played.

I watched every game...and if it wasn't Ed it was Chief or ET.....our defenders were left to shoot all series and our shooters were smothered...win and lose as a team...Ed lost just like the team did. Since that playoff series folks seem to be feeding depressive predictions left and right...that's what's trippin'

people do hate the organization.....Paul and Olshey are the head office of the organization....show me where the love is...you're angry...venting...like many here...you need to understand the difference between moving on and seeing gloom in the offseason in my view....I understand why I like the team...to have to defend that around here is pretty weird if you ask me
 
I have a theory, and no one is going to like it, and the Neil Haters may go off, but here it is:

1) We have not had a press conference introducing Trent
2) We have signed Simons, but not Trent
3) We have 16 players
4) If we need to cut one, it will be someone who has not been signed.
5) We used 2 future draft picks to get Trent.

Hmmm.

I hate the Lakers.....love the Blazers....live with the process and find a way to enjoy it until I don't....I say if folks give up on the Blazers...there are choices..people freaked out about the Moda Center name for god's sake......people booed Meyers at a home game just for entering the game...that's hate.

I would say bones definitely knows what he is talking about when it comes to this game of basketball. I think his take on simons and Trent are pretty spot on. You tell others to not hate yet you give the passionate fans shit for expressing opinions even if it is in the heat of the moment.

It didn’t take much to sell me once I did some diving.

1. He’s played for the Kings, the 76ers, and was a throw in for Brooklyn. He’s never really been in an ideal situation. He spent one season in Sacramento without a defined role. In philly his playing time was up and down. Then he was a throw in in the Okafor trade and was buried on the depth chart because Brooklyn already had guys like Harris, Crabbe, and Lavert ahead of him.

2. His numbers are actually encouraging. The more he plays the better he shoots. Last year when he got 20+ minutes he shot over 45% from outside. The year before 38%. Now he’ll most likely not see 20+m in Portland but I think it’s more about confidence than anything.

3. He’s actually bigger than I thought. 6’6 1/2 in shoes.

4. He might be more than just a shooter. Better athlete than I thought. Terry will give him the freedom to find out. Looking at his college tape, he can handle the ball a bit, and showed some potential in pick and roll situations, which could be why Portland preferred him over Pat.

This was a move worth making, especially for the minimum. I think he’s going to surprise.

Day 2 of Free Agency was actually worse than Day 1, which sucked.

There's a difference between fighting with and disagreeing with. I've been snarky about Neil but not disrespectful to @riverman.
