We don't have a Center right now and our team hasn't been really connected the entire season. Maybe we don't deserve to make the playoffs this year, the Nuggets overacheiving are more worthy of us in a subpar season. There's still a chance but the fact we're all so pessimistic tells us something about this season. It's not all our (or the players) fault anyway. We have 3 centers injured. If we don't make the playoffs then take the summer to regroup and come back stronger next season

There's a decent chance the Blazers still make the playoffs. The Nuggets aren't consistently good and could easily eat a few losses over their final five. I expect them to lose on Wednesday to Houston, unless Harden actually sits out despite chasing an MVP award...

Houston has little to nothing to play for as far as playoff positioning, I would think they'd start resting guys, especially Harden given his sore hand/wrist

To me this is win-win. If we lose out then we get a chance at a great lottery pick and we get a realistic look at Vonleh and Biebs. If we hold on to 8th then maybe Nurk can come back and we surprise Warriors a bit. Either way is good.

I have no clue about Nurk's situation, but you guys realize that players in the NBA with this type of energy average about 5 to 6 weeks of missed time right? Just because they say he is getting checked on in 2 weeks, doesn't mean he will be back in 2 weeks.
