I was wrong about this.

I thought I was wrong once before, but I was mistaken.

If you can't think of anything you are wrong about, you are probably a victim of the Dunning Kruger effect.

There's a lot of it going around, though, and not just on this board.

you just described the average voter in the US.

I remember writing that Luke Babbitt will always have an NBA job as a designated shooter off the bench. lol

I've been optimistic about every shitty PG Portland has thrown out there since Rod Strickland. It was a little like Gob's roofie cycle, where in trying to forget the last bad point guard you latch on to the next one. It was nice to finally be right about Andre Miller (no-brainer) and Lillard.

Others:
Honk once
Extend Roy
"Trout has superstar potential"
Extend Miles
Kemp
Jermaine

If I were GM, the last dozen or so years would be no less shitty than they've been anyway.

Pretty much everything you just posted, I have completely agreed on. I would add that I was a Nate homer for all but his last 2 years as well.

I'm sure there was a lot I was wrong about, I just can't remember it anymore. I suppose that's what you're describing. But I also can't remember what I was right about. =\

I did not want to extend Crash.

I did not want to sign Steve Nash.

I do not like green eggs and ham.

I do not like them, Eric Mill-i-gan.

I believe it was you who wanted to trade Aldridge for Ben Gordon and Michael Kidd-gilchrist a year or so ago. :tsktsk:

What exactly does that have to do with Gerald Wallace or Steve Nash?

Slide Batum to the 2

Trade Matthews

Don't extend Gordon

Lot's of cap space for a Batman

... nothing. It has to do with things you were wrong about which is why I quoted you. Just trying to help out.

I thought Babbitt had a chance to be a useful NBA player. Fuck you guys Myers is gonna be a stud, just you wait and see.

That boy good, he good!

Honk once.

I wanted to draft Rudy Gay over Brandon Roy, although I admit part of the motivation was getting a red jersey with GAY on the back. Bad short term. In longer term, probably right. At least Gay is still playing.

I [hearted] Rudy Fernandez.

I posted on this board.

I also really wanted an Aldridge and Gay draft.

I really wanted Harrision Fucking Barnes instead of Damian Lillard. Looks like I'm probably wrong on that one but Barnes still has a ton of potential so who knows he has a chance of being the more complete player in a few years. I'm now glad we have Lillard though.

If we're talking abou Mike Trout - he does (if he's not already a superstar) have superstar potential.

If it's another Trout as a nickname... then I was wrong. (See how that works.)

Thought Roy would be a role player
Wanted oden
Loved Sergio
Thought Ammo would be good
Thought Freeland would be decent last year

I thought this guy is worth keeping, no matter what is offered for him.

I thought Petteri Koponen was going to make it to an NBA roster.

I still do! Rudy may someday re-enter the NBA.

I can't believe no one said "think Aldridge was an average player". There have been many of you I remembered saying how weak he was and that he could never develop an inside game.

I remember it was Chicago's first game after the 2006 draft and Tyrus Thomas looked really good. I looked it up just now and he had a +15 in that win in just 16 minutes and a highlight reel dunk I still remember. Khryapa was +28.

I remember thinking we'd made a huge, huge mistake. lol. Sample size.
