This man is a warrior. What he has done for this team is something that should be remembered for a long time.

We WILL be able to keep him. He wants to be here. Do you think after all this effort during this magical post-season that Kanter would want to be ANY where else but Portland? Even if the money looks good elsewhere...the guy loves it here. He’s staying. Bank on it.I am in awe at how much respect and admiration I have developed for Kanter since we picked him up. Even beyond basketball but on the court when someone says "I gave all I had" or "I left it all on the court" he is one of the few I believe. Major props and I am already bummed we won't be able to keep him.

The more he talks, the more I'm wondering if we will be able to keep him. He is giving his heart and soul to this team.
I think other offers will definitely be compelling but Kanter just doesn’t strike me as a guy that will leave strictly for money. He’ll follow his emotions and his emotions are now buried within our team and fan base.I can see some other teams making him some nice offers.
The "experts" keep saying there is going to be a very limited market for centers who aren't 3-point shooters. I guess we will see.
And made it. The guy actually has range, just knows where his bread and butter is at.He shot a three tonight
I hope he plays Sunday. It will hard to win without him.
We can holy hope their matchup with the Rockets continues to be a slug fest as well.Even if we get past the Nuggets, we are going to beat to hell if we face Golden State.
I still can't get over that flagrant shot to Kanter's shoulder Jokic laid into him. WTF
Jokic is a dirty ass fuck.
Gotta keep the ass fucking clean. You learn anything in college?Yeah, and we only like clean ass fucks!!!

Remember my green font message below people!!!
Now. Im wondering if we are entering a situation like denver had?
Two big starting centers.
Nurk is still an unknown if he will ever come back 100% the same.
Then there is a young Kanter. Shoulder will heal fine with rest.
Trade Nurk for more pieces and salary and sign Kanter for the future?
Man. Poor Nurk if that happened yet again to him.
Fuck right off with that shit

Oshley needs to be fired ON THE SPOT if Kanter isn't re-signed.
Question.
Is it possible to sign a future contract or a heavily padded contract in later years?
Like sign him for mle for one year with gursntee of another salary?
Or sign him but on a salary where he gets paind mle wage next year but more in later yesrs?
Say:
Year one...4.2 mill
Year two...5.9 mill
Year three...9.9 mill
Year four...15 mill
He has already been paid. He doesn't need money right away.
