1) (a)If Olshey is all that? I know he seemingly did well with the Clippers, but...(b)Will he place his stamp at the draft?

2) If PA, understanding that he has a major illness (tick......tick......tick....), might make one more "financial" push towards a championship? In other words, Vulcan be damned!

3) If McGowan will simply be the marketing guru? Or, will he effectively meddle in the business of basketball?

4) Knowing we're talking Portland here, can the Blazers "legitimately" be a player in the "upper echelon" FA marketplace?

5) Will we see the Blazers again in the Finals before 2016?

I wonder if Olshey comes in this forum to see what the fans want and think? I remember KP said (A long time ago when JQuick use to do his OLive online chats) that he went into the OLive room from time to time to see some comments from fans and post a bit.

To be honest, I think PA will actually turn from Vulcan and throw some long green at the team...you know, in the spirit of the old days.

Granted, at the low point, Paul said the economic model was broken, then brought in Vulcan to make the mass changes, cuts, and so-called fiscal improvements.

That said, he's sick. You can't take you money with you. He's an incredibly huge Blazers fan. I think he wants a championship. I could totally see him sating screw it, I want a championship....sooner than later!....what's it gonna take.

I'm also wondering if the firing of Larry, Pritch, and a bunch of others...was a move in that general direction?
