I don't think they are as worried about the little bit of snow. It is the freezing rain. My work was cancelled tonight, which sucks because I could use the money. And all I have to do to get to work is walk up the hill about 20 blocks up Belmont. I almost asked if I could just run the show all by myself.

It reallty is getting old having the borderline shut down days. Just fucking dump if your gonna dump and shut the city down for a week, so we can all just enjoy it for a few days.
 
OT: @SlyPokerDog, Who do you want the Cowboys to face next week? The only team who has beaten us twice already or the team who would have won 7 in a row if they win tomorrow? I want to play the team that has won 7 in a row because their running game is weak.

By the way, The Patriots will get to play the hapless Texans next week, while we have to play the winner between these two teams. WTF?

I think we can beat the Giants. Regular season doesn't mean much. I would rather avoid Green Bay, playing with a lot of confidence and their defense is going to be rough on Dak.

The Giants defense is just as good, if not better and they have Beckem, Cruz and Shepard while Green Bay only has Nelson and Rodgers and virtually no run game as I said. Dak and Zeke had their worst games against the Giants too. I pick Green Bay, though neither choice is better than the other. Gives me another reason to hate the Patriots.

Roads are fine in Tigard/Tualatin area.
 
Although I am not a lucky Portland native I can commiserate with MicZagger. I live on the East coast. Yesterday, we had approx. 8 inches of snow in central Jersey. I was behind my Troy Bilt finishing the sidewalk and an asshole county snow plow truck employee purposely caked my work. He must have been bored of driving his fat ass around collecting time and a half.

This has been one of the coldest winters in a long time. At my cave in Idaho, we usually get snow every winter, but it melts away in a day or two. This winter, it just keeps piling up. Where is global warming when you want it?

I agree with you on that and it wouldn't be a shock to me if they did lose because Dak and Zeke are rookies playing in their first playoff game. I'm still gonna root for them to win though.

@SlyPokerDog You still want to play this Giants team again for the third time? They are shutting down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense right now. Are you watching?

Now it looks like they won't have Jordy Nelson if they win too. He took a shot in the ribs. Looks like that hurt.

This is an unexpected and surprising season for me. Packers or Giants are going to be a tough tough game. It's a home game for us, I think that's enough to give us a slight edge over either team. If we end up playing the Giants and we beat them I think that only helps us against Seahawks or Falcons. To be the best, you have to beat the best. Bring the mother fuckers on!

I can respect that. But since you are quoting Ric Flair, you know his nickname is 'The Dirtiest Player in the Game' right? He looked for any and every shortcut he could find to win. If we play the Packers at not their best versus the Giants who I am not seeing a weakness in their defense the Cowboys can exploit that they haven't tried to the last two games then give me the wounded Packers. All that matters is winning and advancing.

I am not afraid of Seattle or Atlanta. I am afraid of The Giants.

That's just me though.
 
That was great the way Rodgers extended the play and kept from getting sacked to get that touchdown.
