......but if there were ever a game the Blazers needed more than any other this season, I would say this would be it.

Go Blazers!

If we lose this, wow...

This is a must-win for sure. IF we do lose this, I think we are simply going to be hoping PHX collapses in order to make the playoffs.

I hesitate saying "must wins" because it's such a long season. However, if there were a game they immensely need, this be it.

tonight... it simple....

either the COLLAPSE of 09 begins

Or it DOESNT

either way i expect us to either be 1-3 after sunday or 0-4

Beating the twolves is huuuuge for us. And dont forget, we really struggled with them in november. If we cant beat them without Jefferson, maybe we dont deserve playoffs.

This is a very important game. It may very well be the most important game of the season thus far.

I hope they decide to show up in the first quarter.

I hope Blake/Sergio don't make Sabastian look like an all star.

I think this team understands what's at stake. Both HOU and SA are playing really well right now, so there's no shame in losing to either on their home court. However, Minny really doesn't have either the talent or the concept of team D. This should be a game where we step on their neck quickly and don't let up.

I'm sure what you MEANT to say was 4-3 or 3-4 after Sunday, right? You wouldn't want to forget about our recent wins, would you? Oh wait -- of course you would.

oh yah.... WOO HOO... w ebat the clippers, grizz and hawks.

quick question... whnes the last time ATL won a game??? its been a minute...

I hate calling games "Must wins" unless they are must wins. If we lose this game, we could still finish 2nd in the West, so it's difficult for me to buy it's a must win. However, I think these are the types of games you should win to make life easier come April.

Agreed. From this point forward, you can label every game a must win, and you can make an argument that every ensuing game is a must win.

We certainly must win because we would gain a game on Denver (loss hopefully) since its playing the Lakers at home.

so IF we lose tonight, does mixum bring the whole board crashing down?

we are already crashing....

oden is gonna need surgery

webster out for year

we might lose 4 straight

.... what else do you want?

There is no such thing as a must win in February. We could lost 5 more straight games and then rip of 10 out of 12 wins - who knows?

Or, we could win tonight and lose a bunch of games in the next 10 days (Spurs, Nugges, Lakers, Mavs)

Don't worry guys... I won't let them lose!!

Just saw Al Jefferson pull into the arena....... guess he's playin' tonight!

A few more random comments. Then I'll be convinced. ;)

Thought this might be a good time to revisit MIXUM's prognostications:

we are already crashing.... Not so much. The Blazers have won 7 out of their last 10.

oden is gonna need surgery Apparently not. He should be back this week.

webster out for year Might be back for the playoffs, but I'll give you that one.

we might lose 4 straight Blazers win 2 straight after Texas, by convincing margins, and end up 2-2 for that stretch.

.... what else do you want? How about a little sunshine, MIXUM? Things are looking pretty good.

How is this even relevant? Webster has been out the entire season. It isn't like he helped us get to our current record, and now, since he is out for the season, we will begin to crash. :dunno:
