...would any of you be interested? I mean, it would stunt Lillard and Leonard's growth and we've all invested our hearts in these guys. It's a tough decision. Thoughts?

Both in a heartbeat

Play Lillard at the 2 if need be

Stunting Leonard's growth? Oh fucking well.

Well it's hypothetical and probably never gonna happen. But if we are chasing unicorns; we get harden and Howard. Then Lillard wouldn't be an issue.

Harden signed an 80 million deal with Houston.

Oh we are just talking about "free agent signings"? Okay my mistake... Hmmm isn't there other guards out there other than CP3?

Well, how else were you planning on getting Harden? Houston isn't about to give him up.

With Lillard, I am starting to believe in unicorns

keyword "Chasing Unicorns". As likely as Portland signing CP3 and Howard.

Well, two of them are free agents, so as far fetched as it might be, there is the assumption that Paul could convince them to come here. Getting Harden would require making a trade that Houston and Portland would agree to.

i think robinson cano is a FA next year as well, maybe grab him for the 2 hole

Lillard's skills would be wasted at the two. I don't think he'd be happy there.

OJ Mayo. Would you prefer him over Paul since we don't need a PG?

You're right, tough decision, but I'd turn down the two superstars on the chance that Leonard will be better than them combined.

I remember when Marilyn Monroe wanted to marry me, and I turned her down because I hoped that my girlfriend Tubs would lose weight.

Dwight's back... yikes. CP3's knees... yikes.

I'd be cautious.

Agreed, BC!

And, while we're talking about pipe dreams, I'm just hoping we get lucky enough to land Shabazz Muhammad in the draft and sign Pekovic to a contract in free agency this summer.

Lillard / Vet FA (preferably one that doesn't completely suck)
Muhammad / Matthews
Pekovic / Leonard
Batum / (Matthews)
Aldridge / Hickson

Dwight's back would make me very nervous.

Massive ego + massive contract? No thanks.

Will he ever play like he did before his back surgery? Right now, his lift is very Dale Davis-esque. I honestly didn't expect to see that from him.

Your back is nothing to fuck with. It's probably the most debilitating injury you can have. Anyone who has thrown out there back can attest, it pretty much ruins your life until you feel better, and then you become extremely paranoid about hurting it again. I went through it this last summer. I still think Rudy's career was ruined by Ariza and that fall he took years ago.
