Doesn't surprise me. I lived there for 12 years. I swear, many still live in that, "That's night that the lights went out in Georgia" mentality.

I sure hope the dad told his son the answer was 7 before being outraged about it. ;)

I understand cross curriculum, and I even understand using historical references in stuff. But those are some pretty poor choices to use.

Someones common sense filter is obviously broken.

(I wonder how long it will before a poster here says this is just political correctness gone crazy)

If Georgians like arithmetic problems based on history, why don't they have their kids investigate how many Iraqis died because of the U.S. invasion and occupation.
