If Pelicans beat Wolves tomorrow, we can eliminate OKC from playoff contention by beating them

Plus we'd get a 4 game sweep of OKC for the season. Should be exciting. I'll be impressed if we win. Go Blazers!

It should be an easy win with westbrook suspended. I can see LMA playing to get a little rythm before the playoffs starting making a win even more certain

Is any road game an easy win?

Westbrick out?

We're doomed.

The OKC players should be well rested, and hungry, after weeks of being spectators in their own games.

Even with Aldridge out, I think we have a good shot at taking them out. I would laugh so hard if they miss the playoffs

I want the Thunder in the playoffs. Fuck any chance of them getting a high lottery pick.

So... Westbrook is playing, but Lamarcus isn't?

Oi...

When was the last time the team with the worst possible chance won the lotto? And this question is directed towards only when the lotto balls were implemented

Orlando Magic won the lottery with worst chance and that was with lotto balls but now it's number combinations that are weighted more heavily towards the worst teams in the league.

OKC would have 5 combinations out of a 1000 or 0.5% chance of winning the lottery. I think there odds are better than that (not a lot better mind you) of beating GSW.

I couldn't care less either way in this case. I would like to beat them though.

I mean keep in mind we would play the winner of that series in the 2nd round.

I want OKC in the playoffs because I think they would beat the Warriors to a pulp in the playoffs. They may get swept, but the Warriors would be a pretty bruised team going into the second round.

I love the Pels, but that regular season win last week was iron pyrite. They'll be so happy just to be in the playoffs they'll be swept with no game closer than 25 points.

Interesting take. We shall see. Good to have you back on the forum in time for playoffs.

Yeah but that lotto was a joke. 1 chance out of 60 as opposed to 5 chances out of 1,000.

The Bulls when they got Rose had bad odds.

Go figure, the Chicago boy gets to come home... to at the time was a pretty meh franchise.

No Aldridge. No suspension for Westbrook. Everything points to a Blazers loss tonight being a good thing to me because a Thunder win:

- Provides (incorrectly) positive reinforcement for Westbrook's ballhogging ways
- Encourages his teammates to continue (and if possible increase) being spectators rather than participants
- Gives the Thunder continued hope to land the 8 seed, which would in turn:
*Deny them a lottery pick
*Make their first round opponents bust their humps trying to defend HAMbrook, which should theoretically wear them down should we make it to the second round and face the same team
*Make it more likely that Durant leaves OKC and that OKC is stuck with Westbrook as an insanely productive player on a mediocre-at-best Thunder team for the foreseeable future

And yet, I still refuse to root to lose. Go Blazers!

CHI had 1/3 the chance we had for Oden (1.7% to 5.3%).

Interestingly enough (and no news for those veterans on here), KP said we had the first 3 numbers of the combo.

Okcs pick is top 18 protected? Are they already locked in to keep it? Fuck.

It maybe possible that SAS, who already guaranteed a HCA in the first round may just punt against NOLA. If that happens, then OKC is out of the playoffs.

That could also lead to us playing San Antonio in the playoffs. For that reason, I'll be rooting for the Spurs.

If PHX beats Clippers today, then SAS can punt because SAS holds the tie breaker on the Clips.
