I was just watching the new 24 preview and it was showing suicide bombings in cities all over America. I've been saying this for years, the biggest way to freak out Americans would be suicide bombing in the streets of major cities, don't you guys agree? Since we are not used to it like people in Israel are...etc...It would turn this country upside down in fear with the media...etc... Remember when the Chechen rebels killed over 200 people in that school? If a couple terrorist groups would take over schools this country would go insane... I don't know why they do this instead of the huge plots that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars...these would be harder to track and discover...etc... I understand that terror groups only send the best here for sleeper attacks...but what I said above would make more sense.

That would be a huge attack if it could be cordinated correctly, but the problem is that Americas security is quite good. IE there are back ground checks to buy the needed materials, wire tapping, and just communicating with each other to pull it off all at once. Also, its going to be hard to get enough suicidal maniacal Muslims into this country; most those guys are already known and wouldn't be allowed in legally, and its much harder for someone in the middle east to sneak in here than it is someone in Mexico. Another reason why they may not be trying anything like that, is that they might feel it wouldn't be as effect as a huge attack. one huge attack on a known landmark would garner attention, however a few car bombs here and there maybe not so much. Your idea is good, and hopefully the government had the same idea 25 years ago(but I doubt it) and they put something inplace we dont know about to protect us(again I doubt it).
