Get the #3 and trade #3 plus Oden for Wall and a bad contract (since Washington has Arenas?).

IDK I just really want Wall.

I would be seriously torn. Everyone after pick #2 is a huge risk, especially for Portland.
I CERTAINLY would NOT take Cousins: he sounds like a horrific mixture of Derrick Coleman and Zach Randolph, with maybe some Oliver Miller thrown in. If there's anything these playoffs have taught us it's that Defense Wins When It Counts. Cousins is All-O.
Favors is interesting, but also has the terrifying possibility of continuing the Chris Wilcox/Jordan Hill line of athletic busts who can't play. And we don't need a project right now.
Johnson is a downgrade from Batum.
Aldrich could be Joel if he's lucky.
Aminu is another project who's a tweener and lacks basketball skills.
The more you pick at it, the weaker this draft looks (at least after pick 2). I bet it'll be like last year's, where there are a lot of good solid players lower down. Unless you can get to #2, I don't think there's much point to moving up much more than Pritchard did last year.

That would be stupid. Why do people love Wall so much? Is it because Derrick Rose has set the world on fire? Um, no. Rondo has rocketed past him, and many of the rookie PGs looked better than him in his second year, because, you know, they were actual PGs. Wall is destined to be a star on a crappy team. Sounds like your trades would make Portland into that crappy team pretty much immediately.

I think Cousins has real bust potential ... as much bust potential as he has chance to be a real difference maker, it'll really depend on the environment he ends up in (good teammates, not too many distractions, a no-nonsense coach, etc.) and even then it remains to be seen how much he's going to mature. Time will tell.

Despite the claims by a lot of pundits that this is a deep draft I'm not sure I'm seeing it. Aside from Wall and Turner (and maybe Favors) this doesn't look like a particularly good draft; it's loaded with tweeners, athletes with little skill or polish or guys with polish and skill who aren't particularly athletic. Hopefully KP and his scouting staff have a better feel for it than I do.
