THEY HAVE TO FIX THAT MISERABLE BENCH. It is horrible. There is no scoring whatsoever from it.

Aarmon Johnson - Not ready. He plays good vs bad teams and gets killed vs decent/good ones.

Rudy - basically makes 2 of every 10 shots. All he has is his 3 pointer. Thats it. Garbage.

Cunningham - decent defender with a decent jumper. nothing special

Pryz - no offense but hes not needed to score.

We so BADLY need a Chandler or Harrington type off our bench. Just a pure scorer who can light it up. Rudy should be that guy but he snot even close. This should be a priority at the deadline for now and in future. Other then PG... we have a major need for a prolific scorer off bench. I saw this back in Chicago. BENCH IS FUCKING HORRIBLE.

Our bench definitely needs some scoring punch. That's where a guy like Bayless would fit in pretty well. But since he's gone, either Rudy has to really pick it up, give Babbitt some PT since we got him for his shooting, go trade for a scorer, or I'd hate to say it -- put B-Roy in that position.

Rudy reverting back to playing like a spastic doesn't help, the real issue is that with all of the injuries we've got guys in the starting lineup who would otherwise be coming off the bench and providing some pop. The best candidate to step up and show a little something is Luke Babbitt, but you have to wonder if he's not a total scrub when he can't get a single minute on an injury depleted team.

I don't see any quick fixes unless some trade gets done and even then it would really depend on who they acquired.

Our bench isn't horrible, just inconsistent.

most defining moment about our bench....

vs pistons marks and mills came in 3 minutes before babbitt.

mixum speechless

seriously wtf did we keep mills for??? guy is a human cheerleader. its nice to have but wasted spot. and bets thing bour last nights game.... NO MARKS!!!!! 1 more game to go till joel comes back and that p-o-s is cut.

Well management chose who to trade and who to keep. Let's put it this way. I wouldn't have done it that way.

What isn't all th sunshine they pump up your ass for Armon Johnson enough to give you confidence in the bench?

aarmon johnson has been figured out.

other then opening night and bucks game, he has been terrible

This is the second time I've heard this phrase ... I still have no idea what it means.

You must have some pretty lofty expectations for second round picks.

Between the pointless wasting of 1st round picks, and the bizaro decision to trade Bayless/keep Rudy, is it any wonder the cupboard is getting bare?

Well look at it this way folks and it is no mystery why the bench is weak. Over the last 3 years, how many of our first round draft picks have either, 1.) Turned out to be worth a damn. or 2) Are even still or were ever, with the team? Then take a look at our draft picks, and look at how many bigs we have taken. You cannot go 3+ years in the first round with either duds and or not keeping your talent and expect your bench to have any depth, especially when you are shedding players every year.

We haven't drafted a big in the first round in 4 years. We passed on some good bigs in order to draft some guys who sit on the bench in the Euro league. We drafted a ton of Euro's who haven't sniffed playing time in the NBA. Unless something happens and some of those guys are actually brought over and improve the team, those are just wasted picks.

Teams such as San Antonio can afford to stash Euro's and wait for them to come over. Team's that have not had success yet cannot afford such a tactic.

What puts people in a position to succeed in this league is stability. Stability in role, stability in rotation, stability in minutes. Our injuries have forced us to not to be able to provide any of that stability for the past 13 months. One night a guy plays 30 minutes, the next night he plays 10. One night someone starts, the next night he's third string.

It's not just starters who need chemistry, it's backups too.

We're decimated right now. Our bench will play better when we get players back and when we get some consistent rotations.

Brandon Roy just became our more talented version of Steve Kerr. That's not bad backing up Mathews! We all know Roy will never have big starting minutes again.... So we paid 80 million for a backup, moving on..... hahahahaha

can we see where roy is at the all star break? jesus you guys are getting worse then me lol
