..and the Warriors are working on a Dynasty.

Dame has his best game of the year (40 and 10)
And we still lost by 20.
We need LOTS of help. Through the draft. Trade. SOMETHING. Dame did right tonight, the rest of the team just... no.
Not great enough!Neil is great for tanking.
That this team lacks talent.
12 of the 15 players on this roster can't create their own shot.
Our two best players have identical games.

I really like that analogy lmaoYep. We all love CJ, but he's just not that long for this team.
We're a naked man with two gold watches. Sure, those watches are pretty, but aren't we all a little tired of everybody staring at our junk?
Maybe we ought to take one of those watches and trade it for something else, because there's only so much time you need.
But I thought we were "better" than last season's team?
I can't remember the last time we had a pt guard against a championship team that went for 40 and 10But I thought we were "better" than last season's team?

who exactly is above average??How are we naked? We have players at every posiion, at least above-average players. You think Meyers can't become another offensive weapon? We have Alexander who's not even getting minutes and I think deserves them, we have Frazier getting only injury insurance or garbage minutes when he should surely play at least some of the minutes Dame and CJ are on the bench.
Roster wise, talent wise, the only thing that's tanking with this team are the fans. We have a 1-2 punch in the backcourt that is inferior maybe only to Golden-State's and we have much room to grow. We have many options in the front-court and at least a decent SF rotation. The weak links with this team aren't the players, we don't need a trade, we need a better coach and we need the fans to get their acts together and since Stotts has become somewhat of a consensus we actualy need him to become a better coach
We just played the best team in the NBA fwiw.
who exactly is above average??
No, they were playing the Knicks. We just played the best team in the NBA fwiw.
Good one!Other than Dame and CJ? Plumlee, Meyers, Davis, Vonleh, Aminu, Crabbe, Henderson, Harkless and Frazier

No, they were playing the Knicks.
But at least they didn't lose to the Bucks.Yeah... No... They beat the lowly Knicks by 1.
Considering CJ had a really tough shooting night, I wasn't all that disappointed with where the Blazers are at. There's an obvious need for a scoring big man, and a bit more help off the bench, but I don't think you can read that much into this one game.
CJ had a tough shooting night because he was going against one of the premier two-way SG's in the league. Thompson can stroke it from '3' with the best of them and is capable of being a lock-down defender. CJ is very good at creating his own shot but Thompson is longer, more athletic, and just a much better defender and that will make for some long nights for McCollum.
Proud of Dame's effort. If he doesn't have one of the best games of his career, It's a 30+ point embarrassment.
Sadly, even after losing 3 in a row at home, the Blazers are still at #9 in the Lottery rankings. It's what I was talking about earlier. Just a couple of wins here and there can make a huge difference between being a #4/5 seed with a shot at a really good pick, and being #9/10 where you may get someone decent but not a likely the game changer that is available earlier. There just aren't that many of those each year.
Probably never.I can't remember the last time we had a pt guard against a championship team that went for 40 and 10
