Just got back from the fan shop and already saw 5-10 people camping out for the box office..with 22 hours to go..WOW.
I guess camping is allowed.
 
That's crazy. I was thinking of going tomorrow at 6 a.m. right when they allow people to line up, but I imagine even that would be too late.
 
yes, you figure 4 tickets a person, thats only a line of 250...freaking crazy
 
I camped out at GI Joes for Finals tickets when we played the Bulls. I was first in line and waited 22 hours.
 
I got my tickets today! All the way to the Finals! That would be so great if I have a chance to use them!
 
If we play New Orleans, I'm gonna try to go......out here. :D

So there's going to be a foot race between hundreds of people to the RG ticket office at 6am? Sounds like lawsuits just waiting to happen.

Yeah, what are the Blazers thinking? There will probably be a lot of pushing and shoving to get to the box office when 6 AM rolls around. Someone may get hurt or a fight may break out.

Does anyone have an actual update on whether they are really kicking people out of line?
 
They are not sold through outlets, on line, or over the phone.

Guess I won't be coming to Portland for the playoffs like I did in past years. I really can't get 400 miles tomorrow morning.

And that's what pisses me off. They're screwing anyone who isn't a STH or willing to take off work to stand in line...... or jobless.
 
How many people do you think is camping out right now?
 
Well, if anyone's thinking of going tomorrow morning.... might as well forget it as there is already a line of a few hundred people down there as they said on the radio. They're taking names down there too so no one cuts in line. haha

Most of those people down there are scalpers so if you're willing to pay...

I'd rather watch at home where I can scream Houston Sucks without being threatened by police.

Thats false. I left the RG at 11:30 pm and people were lined up in front of the MC. I saw two Event staff people by the ticket office. I think theres overnight event staff for this event.

I know you're pissed, but damn..if you camp out for 22 hours, you DESERVE tickets and its an added bonus for STH's. The Blazers are just taking care of their highest paying customers, like any business would do. Im a STH and am glad they did that, now my parents and grandparents get to enjoy Game 1 & 2.
If camping out is not an option, then A) pay 60 bucks on stubhub of B) pay your friend to camp out for you.

Its just Game 1 & 2 man, there will be other playoff games
 
I got my playoff tickets for Game 1! Paid a hefty price online, but who cares! I'm stoked about going and avoiding the line!
 
after this season there is no doubt in my mind I need season tix to not deal with this crap next year lol.
