Nonsense. It pretty much doubled in Bend, OR alone.

Obama's "numbers" continue to be shown as fraudulent, even absurd.
You're saying that Bend represents the entire United States? Also, I'm guessing you've got data showing the increase in Bend. Could I see the data? Also, the increase in Bend is over what period of time? 100 years? 6 Months?

Your statement is really hard to figure out.

What do you mean by Obama's numbers? Are they numbers made up in the Oval office by Obama in his spare time? What are you saying and why? Do you have credible evidence? What is it?

You're talking about over 23 Million undocumented Hispanics. That's way way more than any other estimate I've ever seen. Just where do you get those numbers from? The estimates for all undocumented immigrants Hispanics and non Hispanics together is 11 Million.

It’s generally acknowledged the number is at least 20,000,000. The 11,000,000 number originated from the Reagan amnesty and has been perpetuated as a bogus political fallback for nearly 40 years.

...I've ask different people the same question multiple times but I'll ask again...at the risk of sounding like I'm over simplifying things;

When we catch illegals (sometimes also with children) crossing over from Mexico to the US at the border, why are we wasting time and effort and money by then bringing these people into this country to be "processed" (fed, given medical attention, brought before a judge, etc.), instead of immediately turning them right back around at the border?...by force if necessary.

We need common sense immigration reform (the wall)

...the wall won't stop them...what's to keep immigrants from burrowing under the wall or going around the wall?

...that's a helluva price to pay for wall that only achieves part of what it's supposed to do...a wall is not the answer and is nothing more than a neurotic obsession of Trump's...one of many.

It's against international law which we have codified by accepting a treaty regarding that law. This make it American law. The law says that if someone enters at a check point they must be given entrance if they can show that they would face persecution in their home country. A little know fact is that many such immigrants apply for assylum at a check point only to be forcibly denied entrance. Then they must either return to their home country where many face death or find a place to stay temporarily in Mexico where they also face severe and serious hardship at the hands of local Mexican gangs. Turning such people away is technically illegal.

A process where the entrant is given a leg bracelet that tells the authorities where this person is by radio collar has been successful in over 99% of instances in assuring authorities that this person will show up in court when their entrance request is determined. The immigrant is released to a relative and there is little cost to the taxpayer.

What we do now is throw everyone in the slammer and take away their children. There are hundreds of children who undoubtedly will never see their parents again. And this whole thing is costing a fortune.

They're WASPs. The men are good for being managers and supervisors and the women are good for, well you know what Trump thinks they're good for.

Fake news.

Every single one commits a crime by coming here without permission.

Most commit the crime of trespassing on private or government property.

They commit another crime each time they lie about it.

Most carry forged ID, a felony to carry, a felony to buy, a felony each time it is displayed as ID.

That's easily over one hundred million crimes, and that's not counting the rapes, murders, robberies, shoplifting/petty thefts, DUI's, heroin smuggling and sales, meth smuggling and sales, fentanyl smuggling and sales...

Bullshit, you just mentioned them.

You might also have missed post #6. :dunno:

You just keep falling back to your race-victim position, but this thread has nothing at all to do with race.

Illegal aliens take not only some of the best paying jobs in America, they take between 20%-40% of the total jobs available.

Without slaves here (that is what they are and the only reason any politician wants them here) wages and bennies would climb drastically to fill the jobs and the middle class would thrive and grow as it did before, Americans would once again rise out of poverty into the middle class. With people living positive lives and reaping the benefits of good jobs crime would shrink.

Not fake news unless you want to lump FBI crime statistics into the fake news category. If you do that then I'd say you're hopeless.

The jobs would be pretty much unfilled.

Look, wages have actually declined the last few decades and they've continued to decline long after the immigrant population from Latin America has leveled off. This conclusively indicates that the continued decline in wages has little to nothing to do with the population of new immigrants.

Here's what Forbes said in 2015 -

Nineteen foreign nationals have been charged with illegally voting in the 2016 election, the Justice Department said Friday. (Reuters)

Nineteen foreign nationals have been charged with illegal voting in the 2016 election, the Justice Department said Friday.

The defendants are from numerous countries, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Nigeria and Germany.

Some of them were charged in an indictment handed down by a federal grand jury in Wilmington, N.C. They were accused of filing a false claim of citizenship in order to register, and then voting.

Others were charged separately for illegally voting.

The announcement comes amid an intense debate at the state level over voter fraud and efforts by Republican lawmakers to impose voter ID restrictions.

President Trump has long claimed widespread voting fraud took place in the 2016 election, an assertion that has not been substantiated. But Democrats argue voting fraud is not a widespread problem.

"It's not a conspiracy theory, folks," Trump said in April, claiming millions voted illegally in 2016.

Trump ordered the creation of a voting fraud commission after taking office, but disbanded it earlier this year after saying certain states refused to provide information.

Those charged in the latest plots, according to the DOJ, include:

  • Jose Cruz Solano-Rodriguez, age 41, of Mexico
  • Guadalupe Espinosa-Pena, age 63, of Mexico
  • Sarah Emilia Silverio-Polanco, age 35, of the Dominican Republic
  • Elizabeth Nene Amachaghi, age 44, of Nigeria
  • Maria Rufina Castillo-Boswell, age 31, of Philippines
  • Dora Maybe Damatta-Rodriguez, age 64, of Panama
  • Elvis David Fullerton, age 54, of Grenada
  • Olive Agatha Martin, age 71, of Guyana
  • Kaoru Sauls, age 54, of Japan
  • Jose Jaime Ramiro-Torres, age 52, of El Salvador
  • Juan Francisco Landeros-Mireles, age 64, of Mexico
  • Alessandro Cannizzaro, age 46, of Italy
  • Dieudonne Soifils, age 71, of Haiti
  • Hyo Suk George, age 69, of Korea
  • Merius Jean, age 54, of Haiti
  • Rosemarie Angelika Harris, age 60, of Germany
  • Daniel Tadeusz Romanowski, age 39, of Poland
  • Diana Patricia Franco-Rodriguez, age 26, of Mexico
  • Ramon Esteban Paez-Jerez, age 58, of Dominican Republic
The Justice Department said the grand jury also returned an indictment against a 20th person, 66-year-old Denslo Allen Paige, for allegedly aiding and abetting another defendant, Espinosa-Pena, in falsely claiming United States citizenship in order to register to vote.

The cases are being investigated by a taskforce in North Carolina led by Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Homeland Security Investigations, and assisted by Enforcement Removal Operations, and the Department of State - Diplomatic Security Service.

19? Wow, and here we were told that around 5 million illegal immigrants just in California voted in the election and were all for Clinton. Were we lied to by Trump? again?

Actually wages typically go up when unemployment is low as companies have to compete for the skilled workers. When unemployment is high wages will typically go down because of the glut of available workers and people need jobs. Basic economics 101. Did you miss that class.
