Wowwww. Me pointing out what I see as sexism makes me the sexist? Okay.

To the casual observer who doesn't want to plod through the 5 different PDXKass threads that have been closed to find which specific post you have taken offense to, yes, it looked like you were just giving the girl a hard time. This board is filled with chauvinist bullshit and it was put on display when OMG A GIRL showed up.

So fine, you suspect her of being an imposter. Could it be that she is playing a persona, as many people on this board do?

That and this thread and the blatant attempts by 2-3 people to drive away a new poster are disgraceful.

Who cares if a person is male/female or lies about it behind their avatar and user name? OMG, some great crime against humanity is being committed. Call in the SWAT teams.

Maybe what matters more is the content of the person's posts, which actually seem downright knowledgable and are very well written.

I'm saying you are a sexist thinking I'm calling him/her out as a liar because of her gender. You're projecting. His/her gender has nothing to do with it. His/her lying does.

And he/she isn't playing a persona, like MARIS or jlprk. She's lying about her accomplishments, and then using that lie to make others feel inferior. That's what pissed me off. I can be a dick sometimes on this board, but I don't lie. And for calling her out on her bullshit, people attack me. That's cool; I can take it. I certainly don't need to block anyone's posts because their ideas offend my delicate sensibilities.

But you keep on with your chauvinism, that you're rushing to someone's defense because of their gender. I respect women enough to treat them as equals.

Aw, Denny. That's cute, your willing ignorance. I've stated a number of times exactly why I'm calling this person out as a liar. I'm not trying to drive them away; I'm pointing out that this person is lying about their educational background and then using that lie to belittle other posters. Since I have an impenetrable ego when it comes to my own educational background and am immune to the "well I went to Stanford" bullshit, I decided to point out the lie for all to see.

I hope PDXKass admits she doesn't go to Stanford and sticks around on the board. Then I'll drop it and judge that person by the quality of their posts.

Anyway, no, I did not say that you are calling her a liar because of her gender, I said TO THE CASUAL OBSERVER (ME AND ANYONE WHO DOESNT KNOW THE EXACT OFFENDING POST) it looks like you are giving her a hard time, like many others here have, for no real reason. I apologize and will admit you probably have a legitimate gripe with her, at least in your head.

Hey guys, I'm un-ignoring you maxiep and MM cause I like to read you most of the time. Just please keep this particular issue located in one thread. Thanks. It just lowers the enjoyment of the forum if every thread becomes a battle.
