Again, I bundles the remarks, then clarified myself a month ago. Don't be putzy about it.
You're the one who brought this all up again.
Now you're accusing new people of saying things.

I agreed with @MARIS61's post in the banned posters thread, then clarified a few things for his sake. Then, you responded to that. And here we go.
When I recently went at it with a few people in here claiming that I had been call a racist (among other inappropriate labels), it was HCP I particularly had in mind. Others have, too, (dviss and a few more), but, without naming names, it was mainly HCP I was alluding to in that moment.
So according to you the lesbian, Hispanic, and black members of the forum have all insulted you. Really?!? I will say it's a bit odd and disturbing that you are singling out the non-white males of the forum to make yourself look like a victim.
I'm simply referring to a few from memory who have uttered the words.
So you're saying that lots of people have called you a racist but you only remember the ones who aren't white males?!?
Interesting.
dviss stands out because he was such an over-the-top, loose cannon. Seemed very angry, as well. He called me out numerous times. HCP and I go back a long way. He's said many mean-spirited things to me over the years. Not simply about race stuff. AGAIN, his name was only brought up in response to a very straight forward post made by @MARIS61. If you feel the need to extrapolate a bunch of crap from that, then, again, can't help ya.

Dude?
I’m not so over the top and I’m probably not as confrontational but you do have a way about you?
For the record I’m Irish so you can add us to your list.
That specifically might “The way about you” I was talking about.dviss had lots of fun stuff to say about me. After all, I voted for Trump.

Dviss was over the top many times, IMO. To the point that he hurt his cause.I never found dviss over the top. I thought a lot of what he said made sense.
Apparently the fact that I am an atheist is insulting. Oi vey.
You read through those posts and they were in reply to @crandc's comment.
Now you're accusing someone else of saying something they didn't.
I'm pretty sure one of the 10 Commandments addresses that.

Attacked me several times for not being as extreme as he thought I should be.
Mostly nice guy. Understandably emotional, but quite unreasonable.
Dviss was preaching. Not enough white people are calling out the racism of other white people. If you don't call it out you are condoning it. He was merely enumerating that.

I watched a lot of Disney + this weekend. I haven't noticed any changes to my sexual orientation, but I will be sure to keep the board up to date on any new feelings I am having.Same dude, one minute apart.

I remember a good friend of mine (he's native/african american) telling me that for some people, they think every comment is about them. I.e., if you say "there are some white people who are racist", they will instantly think that person means them.
I will admit in my younger days I would get defensive when I'd hear that kind of statement. But it wasn't until my friend pointed out that if you're conscious of your actions, and are introspective about it (i.e., you're wondering if it's about you), chances are it's not. And if you read a statement "Man, I hate white people who are oblivious to the shit POC go through on a daily basis" and your initial thought is "yeah, they are getting hosed" instead of "well, I'm not a POC and I struggle, so buck up junior", then that comment is not about you".
Kind of like how you can love the US and realize that we have a long way to go before we are all treated equally, etc.
Totally agree. Like walking on eggshells with him. Even if you were on his side, one slip up or misconstrued word and he’d be pissedDviss was over the top many times, IMO. To the point that he hurt his cause.

I have never gone to the thought that Dviss was calling me racist, not once.
Dviss can be loud. He is always clear and upfront with what he has to say. He's very passionate and for some it can be perhaps overwhelming. That's his voice and how he chooses to use it. I respect that.
Again, you didn't vote for Trump. That puts one on a whole 'nother level. Trust me on that.
