No sense saying something sexiest, degrading, and insulting.

Semantics seeks to describe how words are used-not to prescribe how they should be used. Examples of Semantics: A toy block could be called a block, a cube, a toy.A child could be called a child, kid, boy, girl, son, daughter.

Romans or Jews is not semantics.
This whole thing seems anti-simantics

The bottom line, Chris, is that Jesus had to die as to fulfill prophesy - pretty much irrespective of who did the dirty deed.

Sure, but we were talking about who was responsible.

Who was responsible was fake fundamentalists who used religion as a way to elevate themselves and control others, who saw Jesus as a threat to their power and position. Their nationality or religious affiliation were irrelevant to their true object of worship: themselves.

The point is, Jesus was going to be killed regardless. That said, it's been debated over the years who actually killed Him. Pilate wanted him released and was willing to release Barabbas (a murderer and insurrectionist) in Jesus' place. However, the Jewish mobs screamed, "Crucify Him! Crucify Him" - meaning Jesus - so they did.

Truth.

Yeah that was a good movie. I watched it too.

Go fuck yourself, again. Jews have been murdered by the millions due to your myth and you call that getting my panties into a bunch? Asshole. Not that I am surprised by your disrespecting women.

Jesus death was the responsibility of a small collection of Jewish hypocrites, who incited the crowds to demand His death. However, for me saying that ALL Jews were responsible for Jesus. death would akin to saying somthing like ALL Americans are responsible for the acts of Salvador Ramos, and other murderers of his ilk. We're not. And the Jews, as a whole, were not responsible for Jesus' death. Pretty straight forward.

I love the Jewish people, have been to Jerusalem, and have taken part in many Jewish causes over the years. Jesus was a Jew.

Call it a conspiracy theory, but Jesus had it all laid out ahead of time. Even His own disciples didn't understand the breadth of the event until after the fact.

I can't be racist! I know Black people!

that's a lot like "I love/support the gays" when said person supports all the candidates that promote and support laws that weaken the rights of those people.

That's actually a lot more accurate than what I posted. He decreed the events in advance; nobody else can really be responsible but Him.

I don't know about you folks but I'm not setting public policies based on anybody's mythological allegiances. If you think during the year zero govts were giving up slaves and championing human rights, you got a bad history book. Anyone who guides their ethics from the Roman Empire is fooling themselves I'd say

*gestures vaguely at the wealthy land and slave owners who wrote the Constitution*

I wouldn't trust Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to have my best interests at heart; I definitely don't trust that any of the founding fathers did either.
The populace was never considered in the founding of this government.

Or wants to be the people in charge OR loves an authoritarian government.
