First of all, I apologize for my off-humor remarks to you. There's a lot of jabbing that goes on in here (always has), but my remark was disrespectful, and I aplogize for that.

Secondly, the basis for my comments regarding Jesus, the Jews, the Romans, the disciples, et al, come from the Bible. As you are an atheist, I highly doubt anything coming from the Bible holds any value or merit with you. Not much more to say.

dude...you should have stopped with the first sentence....that was a good one but doubling down on what others value or merit and using the Bible as a line of defense turned it back around to your safe spot......get rid of the second part and I'll like your post. Apologies don't need justifications

What are you talking about? The Bible is not simply my line of defense. It's what I believe in wholeheartedly, and what my world view is based upon. Pointing that out to crandc was not justification by any means.

again...the apology was not about you and your belief system...you make things about you all the time...give it some thought. You were on the right track and you again, made it about yourself in the end. I'm not throwing shade...just advice...take it or leave it...

You've missed the point. And that is, crandc and I are so far apart on our beliefs, it's probably best to leave it at that.

Specifically, what did you mean by it? The context, I believe, surrounded around the crucifiction of Jesus.
